First post here. Seems a good deal for a dehumidifier with good ratings on Amazon. Hope it helps.

never had Ebac but this has been brilliant for us so far. bought three weeks ago. had the Meaco 10l first. that broke within 10 months. we have two bedroom bungalow and this model gets loads of water out of the air! amazing!
Went with a Warehouse Deal for £95 odd (Used - Very Good).
Many thanks,

Bought the DC12 for £125 a year ago.
Absolutley brilliant.
Eliminated mold in the conservatory and used to dry washing when it can't be hung outdoors.
Only downside is it extracts from the rear so shouldn't be really put up against a wall.

I have this though I bought it second hand. It's a great dehumidifier and works wonders in my 2 bed home. It's amazing to see how much water it collects and then pour down the sink!

Thanks just spoke to them, ridiculous but got the outcome I wanted. They credited my amazon gift account £145 and told me to reorder the item, once I receive the new item I need to arrange
for the old one to be returned at amazons cost. Absolute madness

how does this compare to the Ebac brand? the 21L 3850e is selling for £144 at the moment at Amazon

That's the one I had.
Better in paper specs wise however in real world use no where near as good.
The only thing it did better was warm the room whilst dehumidifying. The one i had didn't last long after the warranty and if you get a chance to look at the repair service ratings for Ebac they are shocking. Often people sending in their machine and getting a different one back and in terrible condition.
I will not buy another Ebac.

Bought this for £145 3 weeks ago, do amazon refund the difference if price drops happen soon after purchase?

Good machines. I have the dc202 and its excellent. I rate it over the meaco dd8l

Great price. I payed the Same for the DC12 in January and it's brilliant. Mine outperforms the Ebac model i have had prior to this. Even though the specs ie litres per hour etc are less it removes more moisture in the real world. It only displays the humidity level in increments of 5 ie 50 then won't change until 45 so if that's important to you then get the Aldi one. I like the timer, I select 4 hours when I get up and when I get back from work it has lowered the humidity making it easier to heat the house.
Very good machines.
