What's the likelihood of the Mavic pro seeing a price drop for Black Friday?

theres no chance anywhere will have stock on black friday never mind a price drop.

Not a UK shop and likely to get hit with customs charges unfortunately, plus their customer service is dire. :disappointed:

I think uncertainty with the laws on this devices could be a problem. This news is likely to stir up some debate on how these are used. Personally I really want one of these but just waiting for the price to drop a bit more.

just get a DJI F450 or F550 off ebay or build your own. Much cheaper and just as capable.
Forgot to say, anyone that wants one of these this is a good price with the quidco..

Anyone seen a Phantom 3 battery in any black Friday sales?

But not on click and collect, so you would have to buy online and have delivered

This is not correct. You can order and pay online, then collect in store, as clearly stated in the T&Cs. If you reserve online and pay in store you will not get the cash back.
Keep coming back to this, but I know it will be the latest gadget that sits in the garage not being used!

not a great deal in my opinion...has been £449 with 2 batteries and 12 months interest free credit at jessops recently. I bought one but range was very limited so returned. waiting to buy an advanced in the spring....

You stated that you have to have it delivered, which is not correct, you can collect from store

and beware of clones - request the serial number before paying and check it with manufacturer - a good supplier will oblige - not just drones... :smirk:

I'd like to know what kind of drone can reach a height of almost 5,000ft and how a pilot can recognise a 50cm drone whilst traveling at 400mph. If anything it sounds more like a black bin liner than a drone.
I'd like one to so an aerial survey of my house and land but apparently that's illegal so no idea what I'd use it for.

I think household wifi is the main problem. I a field behind my house, would sometimes lose video signal within 50m. in wide open spaces with nothing around managed over 100m no problem. main problem was gps lock being lost, despite everything being set up correctly. on a moderately breezy day, was hard to stop from flying away manually if lost gps....very stressful! I did buy a refurbed advanced from maplins before that and had no such problems in the same locations, but looked like it had been treated badly previously so returned that....

Jessops said they had a lot of standard models returned due to gps loss and poor signal. definitely worth paying extra for the advanced in my opinion. should be some good deals with all of the new models coming out.

Mine is on order but taking 3 days to deliver to store. Which I did tonight, so I'm not sure why you say it is a cold deal. You could expire the deal for no stock. But Cold?

The 10% quidco deal ended a few days ago, I think for this product it's 3.3% atm.

no uncertainty on the laws - the laws are already there & are constantly being broken by drone flyers.
