I've used dremels before for polishing up scratches on car wheels and cutting out a notch in a door frame for a new lock, but I can't think of anything that I need this for currently...
Ah I'm sure there will be something. Ordered! :stuck_out_tongue:

Was replying to a comment about the batteries staying charged, didn't seem to work though
Dremel's rarely get discounted by anyone, which is why I ended up with a Lidl one.

I picked up the wired 3000 the other day for cheap, I think whenever I need to use this one the battery would probably be flat (won't be using much probably). Great deal though!

Battery stays charged, no discharge like nicad, charge it, leave it a year and it will be 90%+

It is a universal 10.8v li battery BUT it has an external frame designed to fit the dremel, it doesn't fit my Bosch professional kit (same company now) You can remove the frame and fit it on any other battery with the same size and terminals and google/youtube will happily show you.
They are rebranded Bosch batteries at the end of the day so quality isn't an issue and the tools isn't demanding like my multi tool so it should last you years. (6 years and counting on my original bosch drill batteries)
This also has the 3.6-10.8v charger but i tend to use my 10.8 bosch charger (yes it fits all 10.8v chargers of that type regardless of mounting frame.
hth.

I was about to post this deal, you beat me to it :smirk:. But anyway, I always wanted to buy a dremel, but they were expensive.......but wow, what a cracking price, the cheapest it has been ever. This tool will come in handy, for case modding, cutting out windows and fan holes....cutting thin metals, wood engraving, ect.
The only thing I am worried about is the battery and the cost to replace it, should it ever fail in the future, but what a deal this is.........Ordered for delivery for tomorrow:D
