Been looking around the cheapest i could find was 60p dearer, if you need 2 these work out to be just under £6 each and they are quality too. I was expecting it to look cheap considering the price but i was pleasantly surprised. Was £14.99

Yes, plenty of experience. I do this for living ( electrician here )
yes price has gone up again - I fitted mine earlier yesterday and they are easy to change over from the existing MK ones, also these have earth connectors both top and bottom, came in handy when the cable is not long enough or have multiple cables meeting.
These are not just for charging you can use them to power USB devices like the amazon fire stick

looks a good deal but I bought the Lisse USB socket from Homebase.
you buy the shelf seperate for an extra 1.99 . I have put one in my sons room to stop his tablet and phone from being kicked/trodden on and have also put one in the kitchen. It also comes with a spacer so it will fit 25mm back boxes

for those who don't know ... your back box has to be at least 35mm deep ... Most of the back boxes in your house are 25mm ... you will have to change it and isn't so easy . So beware . Screw fix sells Lap... not very expensive , reliable'ish and they will fit in your 25mm back box .

do you have personal experiences of this? Because it might be that the back box is 25mm and the front plastic socket plate is 10mm. I just measured mine and it adds up to 35mm.

If you are going to keep it plugged in all night then it's good. If you want fast charge don't bother getting one.

I've seen lots of comments about USB sockets being dangerous. At 1:17 bigclivedotcom makes a quick comment about sockets with USB ports, in general: https://youtu.be/zoZ1_aEDPos?t=77

99% of the "cheap" double sockets with USB are complete dross but these have some decent reviews. Just don't expect your kit to charge at the same rate as it would from a standalone charger!

depends on how deep your current socket back plates are, you need to check that they'll cope with D3.5cm
