Yeah same here. Considering how well optimised for the base unit at 1080P it is there is every chance the Pro could manage 4K or at very least 1800P. Surprised it isn't getting a patch as it would have been an obvious candidate IMHO, hopefully the might reconsider or have the devs definitely ruled it out?
Similarly it's a shame the Witcher 3 isn't getting any pro treatment either and the devs response (basically that they are busy with new games and can't be arsed) is really disapointing considering CDProjekt are generally one of the better developers out there.....

If its a gift then new is perfect...if its for you to play straight away, why wouldn't you buy pre owned?

I havent heard the devs rule it out but the silence speaks volumes. Even if they could use the extra processing power to stabilise the frame rate a bit (some of the hectic battles can get a bit choppy) that would have been great. Extra res would be a bonus.

some people like a bit of the profit to trickle down to the developers rather than extra to the retailer on a second hand purchase.

actually no, the retailer takes the profit between the price they paid for it and the price they are selling it for now, which in some cases may actually be zero. If you feel so badly about companies losing out on profit aren't you on the wrong site....
