Got my oh one few months back and he hates it so had to buy him a Sony one. I think it's fine myself and really fast with dual sim aswell. If it had been 6 inch I would have used it.

Got the standard X5 for kid. Works fine, solid build. Fast enough for games kids play. Not put a sim in yet. Good battery life. Firmware works well enough. Physically looks like any other slab smartphone these days.
I'd assume this MAX version is just as good, with bells on.

Using it now, it's functional, plays pokemon go but no gyrometer. Laggy keyboard drives me spare.
