Deus Ex: Human Revolution is the return to one of the most critically-acclaimed video game franchises of all time, telling the story of Adam Jensen, a man cybernetically augmented against his choice who finds himself in the middle of a global conspiracy to which he holds the key. By offering players the chance to play the game in multiple and vastly different ways, Deus Ex: Human Revolution challenges the foundations of gaming and provides an immersive experience where every choice has a lasting consequence.
You play Adam Jensen, an ex-SWAT specialist who's been handpicked to oversee the defensive needs of one of America's most experimental biotechnology firms. Your job is to safeguard company secrets, but when a black ops team breaks in and kills the very scientists you were hired to protect, everything you thought you knew about your job changes
Badly wounded during the attack, you have no choice but to become mechanically augmented and you soon find yourself chasing down leads all over the world, never knowing who you can trust. At a time when scientific advancements are turning athletes, soldiers and spies into super enhanced beings, someone is working very hard to ensure mankind's evolution follows a particular path.
You need to discover where that path lies. Because when all is said and done, the decisions you take, and the choices you make, will be the only things that can change it.

don't bother with cool shop. Took 23 days and multiple emails to deliver my Gear of war 4 this month. Not even convinced they sent it.

CEX are doing the Directors cut edtion for £3.50, that get's you all the DLC as well in one package as compared to this version which is just the vanilla.
I just picked up a copy today and it looks simply amazing on BC on the XB1, and upscale to 4k is simply stunning, well forth £3.50.
But heat anyway because any version of Deus is a steal at under £5, game is just perfect in every way.
In store otherwise you will be charged £2.50 delivery.

How do we know whether it is backwards compatible on xbox one? My local has one in stock so would like to go and buy if it works with xbox one in order to avoid delivery costs.
It is a 360 game, but it looks and runs great on the XB1, and as a plus another cracking game just went Back compat yestarday, Elder scroll Oblivion, i have the Anniversary disc and again this game runs fantastic and all the DLC install's as well, plus i have the slim xbox and a 4k TV and the upscaling of these 360 games is just fantastic, a lot more smoothed looking games with colours that just seem to pop more....
BC on the XB1 has become such a great feature.

Fantastic game, it sold very poorly at launch here in the UK even though it reviewed positively all round. The price dropped almost immediately to £30 as a panic sale then just continued to drop in price to the point where it was like £12 3 months'ish after launch.
Felt very sorry for the devs as the game is fantastic. Glad they recouped enough for a sequel.
