This deal was b@[email protected]! Had the laptop loaded into my basket and the code copied into the box before 1300 and pressed the button at 1 second past. Then wasted over an hour and a half trying to check out through constant server errors, only to find that the website miraculously worked perfectly again once the "offer" was over. Smacks of data harvesting and false offers to me.

Don't know how anyone manages to order anything from Dell. I went straight to their website a second after the deal went live, I had the item in my basket within a minute but I've been trying for an hour and 20 mins to check out but right at the last minute it keeps saying website error. I've been in a queue to talk to them from 9 mins after the deal went live - there were 890 in the queue and hour 20 mins later there is still 294 in queue before me. I've non stop tried to ring them and every time its engaged......think i'll give up on this already wasted too much of my day :disappointed:

tempted but I currently have an IPS monitor, and IPS laptop... I don't like my TN screen at work that much -- so on the lookout for a 4K IPS... :-(

I just make my purchase at 7.08am. What I have to do was connect to an agent chat things via dell.co.uk and they will sort out the order for you. good luck & have fun!

The link works for me, at 06:40 they seem to have stock, I can load in to the basket but then Dell will not accept payment from any of my bank cards.
Guess still having issues

Yep, I meant the UP2715K. Been waiting for them to come down to a half-decent price for months now. Best monitor I've ever used.

I have 60hz Ips 27" acer. you can simply turn off AA and play games UHD 60fps (Eg: BF1) . pixel density is high enough you don't need AA.

That's fine. Not trying to start an argument. Just pointing out the thought process behind picking a gaming monitor - Starting with refresh rates.

Congratulations on adding 'serious' into my sentence and changing my meaning. I was referring to the panel type, rather than the refresh rate.
TN panels probably won't upset a gamer, but would be a big deal for someone in a creative capacity. You are quite right about the refresh rate, just that I wasn't actually referring to that

Decent price, but there is no way it "was" £530. Can buy it for £320-£370 from so many retailers right now.
Also, worth nothing this is a TN panel, but that's fine for gamers.

Not really, most serious gamers are only interested in 144hz monitors. Not this upscaled 60hz overpriced rubbish.

I recently bought the Dell P2715Q which is an IPS display from ITC Sales - very nice display though to be honest as I run Windows 10 at 150% scaling I might as well be using a 27" 2560x1440 display instead. I'm not convinced that 4K displays at 27-28" size are worth the extra over a WQHD display.

Just doing some research on 4K/5K monitors - is the U2715K a different model from UP2715K? (typo?)
