This is brilliant, until you find out you can't unsubscribe using a mobile device...
I had to cancel the PayPal payment.
I believe the tipping point has been and gone and most people now access the Internet through mobile devices, making unsubscribing very difficult if you don't have access to a 'real' computer.
Don't take this personally OP, just annoyed with Deezer, it's either short sited... or sharp practice.

I just subscribed and unsubscribed using my iPhone. In the browser just opt to view the desktop site. Then go to settings and my subscription tab.

nice spot!!
just tried this as my last 3 month free trial ran out a few weeks back. And it worked again. this was on top of the 6 months i got free through my 3 mobile contract. in effect 12 months free music streaming for £1.98. not bad in my opinion.

My last trial with 3 ended a few weeks ago so this is great.
I like Deezer. It's a good streaming service and has a huge selection.

Doh! Thanks for that, it's obvious when you think about it but I got annoyed instead. ^_^
Although I did search for how to cancel and even in Deezer's FAQ it said you couldn't unsubscribe on a mobile.
Thanks for the helpful reply. ^_^

Thank you!!!!
I currently have the 12 month for £25 deal which expires in two weeks - if I unsubscribe from that presumably I will need to create a new account to get this deal?

My £25 deal just ran out this morning, I immediately searched HUKD, found this deal and it worked. Shame it's only 3 months but for 99p I can't complain and will look for another deal when the time comes. No need to create a new account and also immediately unsubscribed keeping the 3 months.

Use a VPN, connect to Brazil or South Africa and sign up for 12 months (disconnect the vpn when it comes to the paypal payment), you can get 12 months for around £30

That was before the pound crashed, i pay £3.60 per month for Brazilian Deezer. It was £2.80 a few months back. £3.60 is still good though. I could get 6 months free Apple Music but can't be bothered cancelling Deezer then rejoining.

Bah, only just activated a free 2 month Google Play trial - any idea how long this offer will last? I left my last trial of Deezer a few weeks back, I assume I'd be eligible?

Same here, wants $9.99. I did have 3 months for 99p a year or two ago, pehaps that is why. (I quite liked Deezer but thought they went bust earlier this year?)

Deezer is great, I've been using it for over three years now. After my last trial ran out I kept going. Any way I can use this - maybe create a new account and then follow my old account to copy playlists - anyone done this?

This offer is for existing Deezer accounts which have never paid for a subscription before. That's as much as I know

Yeah if you are subscribed end your subscription. Then use a vpn in brazil, go to the deezer brazil website and sign up there, I pay via PayPal its the easiest way. Its something like 9.99r or whatever but it works out about 3.60 when converted to £.
Obviously you get Brazilian related toplists, but you can search easily, and save a fortune.
Ideal for me as I like to download tunes to listen to in the car without going over mobile data.
Which is another point to make, if its only £4 extra per month for a few extra gb on your phone, it could be worth doing that instead and stream whatever you want for free.

Thanks very much for that clarification, much appreciated. Good point about the mobile data, I do need a premium account though for sonos. I searched for an artist the other night and there were no results which spurred me into renewing in any way I could

Does anybody know how long it takes to cancel a Deezer subscription? Is it cancelled immediately upon request, or do I need to set it in motion a couple of days ahead of my 3 months finishing?
