Xbox One S isn't really a Pro equivalent, it packs a very minor punch compared to the usual X1.
Bigger difference between the PS4 and the PS4 pro, than the X1 and X1S.
Scorpio is sort of Microsofts PS4 Pro but its said to be a lot more powerful than the PS4 Pro however its not due until next year.
Still defo a bigger jump than what the Pro is to the regular PS4.
In terms of deals they dont look that great meh, still clearing old X1 stock I guess.

Not in my local Game but said they would be opening Thursday at 8pm till 1am with deals, what they would not tell me! Is it worth going down? Never seen an amazing deal at Game. This one isn't bad though.

don't trust the telephone stock check service. we checked the Colchester store where it was said they had stock only to drive 12miles and be told they sold out day 1. I managed to find some direct store numbers and eventually got the last one set aside for me at the Ipswich store. one very happy hubby!

Just to clear things up here...
The Xbox One S is 4K upscaled, only. However, it does have a 4K Bluray player for UltraHD films. The One S is NOT akin to the PS4 Pro, i.e. No extra power.
Scorpio is the project name for a more powerful Xbox. But, while it does share similarities to the PS4 Pro, it will actually offer native 4K gaming, whereas the PS4 Pro, mostly uses an advanced resolution (3200x1800 typically) that is then upscaled to 4K.
If you want the full rundown, watch Digital Foundry's many, many videos on the PS4 Pro. That should make it clearer!

Last I checked you get about 90-110 for Xbox 500gb so £90 I'd imagine and for an extra 500gb and an elite controller I think it's a good deal. Personally I'd wait for Scorpio but that is a fair few months away :/

I sold mine to them on Friday. . £72 is the cash price however they will "beat" CEX who are offering £101 so ended up getting £105 from Game.
They don't by default check CEX so you have to prompt them.
trade in price is prob a bit more.
with the tesco deals on xbox one s recently I upgraded to a one S for £52!

Am I the only one who doesn't trust Game atall? Absolute rip off merchants except the odd deal. I miss the days of electronics boutique.
Game is literally the last choice of preference. Not relevant, but I had to get it out.

Are you sure?? As far as I'm aware, Scorpio is the code name of the "next gen" Xbox, the OneS is more like the equivalent PS4 Pro (ie same as a standard One/ PS4 but with a bit more punch and HDR support)

Also tempted to flog my 500GB for 1TB Elite. Used my mates controller and they are so much better, but then they're also prone to breaking :/

I did that about a week ago, CEX were giving £120 for my 500GB console and Game matched it. £80 for the extra 500GB internal space on a hybrid drive (quieter too) and the Elite controller
EDIT - did a quick check, you're looking at £110 for the 500GB Xbox with no Kinect
