Seems the best deal online so far. At overclockers is 80£. I ordered one to build a cheap affordable desktop pc. The brand is quite solid also.

When buying ram, it's best to get the largest you can afford/need in pairs. Wouldn't recommend getting 4x4 for a new build, even when it is cheaper. Come upgrade time, should you want to go higher, you need to replace 2 (who is going to want 2x4 in a year or so time) rather than just add 2 more. Too much hassle for me.

be warned, not all skylake cpus like running 4 sticks of ram.

Are you sure about that? As far as I know this is chipset dependent, not cpu. The h110 chipset can only run 2 sticks but the z170 chipset can run 4.

Pardon me if i am wrong but Quad channel ram like this is much faster than dual channel Ram.(if you mobo/cpu support it). Dual channel RAM is designed for operating in pair for optimal performance and doesn't like adding another pair?
no a pro on this but this is what i heard

I see but I don't know why ... I actually noticed kits like these x4 are more expensive then the kits x2.

Sport computer memory. How ironic given that it will be plump mouth breathers in the main who purchase

Skylakes IMC can be fussy with more than two sticks and it should technically hinder any overclocking as the imc will be under more strain. From experience I tried running 4x crucial ballistix ddr4 2400 on a 6600k/z170 pro gaming aura...it didn't like it, lock ups and bsods. Work as 2x but not as 4, all slots are fine, all sticks are fine just not when all running together. Your mileage may vary with skylake and 4 dimms.

Sounds like a problem with your setup, no problem here on an i5-6400 at 4.5GHz.

Designed more for X99 chipsets as can be used in quad channel. For non supporting quad boards I'd go with 2x ram every time as they run a little faster.

As I said your mileage may vary, not every cpu is the same.

This portion is certainly true.
You're actually limiting performance by having 4 sticks over traditional dual channel with 2 sticks.

Don't get me wrong guys it's a cracking price for 16GB given current ram prices, I'm just saying your mileage may vary on skylake with 4 dimms, might work, might not, might work and allow you to OC, might work but affect your OC. I ended up splitting the kit into 2x4GB and built two office machines

Problems with his chip aside, you're never going to get as much performance and stability from a 4 DIMM setup as you are from a dual DIMM setup, excluding quad channel setups. More components means more complexity, more to synchronise, and greater chances of something going wrong, causing a crash. Best case scenario is that it works as well as dual DIMM, likely case is that it'll require a slackening of frequencies or timings.
