So I have seen the hype around Tesco and Asda are cutting fuel prices so I thought I will point out to my local Costco members to even cheaper fuel prices.
Happy fueling.

Costco's website doesn't list which sites do fuel. I guess you'd have to go there.
If you look at places like Liverpool, Thurrock etc you can see opening times for the Petrol station too.
So if it doesnt list this, I guess they dont have one.

Any validity to the theory that they supply poor quality fuel? Such as the claim that supermarket fuel stations supply bad fuel as seen in the news some time ago?

I filled up from Costco Lakeside 2 weeks ago and the Premium Diesel was 112.9p. However, i do find that i get around 5mpg more using Shell Diesel V-Power but around 4 weeks ago that cost me 129.9p. The cost saving is sufficient enough for me to keep refuelling at Costco

If you talk to the customer services desk, they'll try to think of a way to shoehorn you in. I work for a company that makes scientific instruments, so I got in under "medical". *shrug*

So far as I know despite the branding on fuel, it all comes from the local refinery in tankers which might do several deliveries to different branded outlets. It's the additives which are brand specific.
I use the Costco diesel and it seems to make the car run more smoothly, and a little more power. Other users have noticed a similar improvement. Slight, but noticeable.

When did they start building Chester?

This one at Lakeside hasn't been here long, maybe they will put one in at yours soon too.
Their premium petrol from what I have seen has always been cheaper or the same price as regular petrol else where is the area. Its worth becoming a member just for the petrol.

Seems unlikely to me as there is a Shell petrol station on the access road leading to Costco at Chingford, but never say never. Filled my car at Lakeside today but didn't know it was cheap, just happened to be there.

Keep an eye on your local authorities planning websites. This is how I found out that there is a planning application in for a PFS at Edinburgh. I've had a look at Woltham Forrest, Watford and Leeds planning portals and can't see anything at the moment.
The transport consultancy's report for the Edinburgh application says "planning consent has also been obtained for PFS installations at Costco warehouses in Haydock, Chester and Gateshead with several more applications in the pipeline." I imagine they will will be looking to open as many as possible/feasible.
The transport report is quite an interesting read if you want more insight to Costco's fuel operations.

My local (Sheffield) has premium unleaded at RON 97 so be careful if your car takes 99 and above as mine does - it won't run as well as on Shell 99 but otherwise, I can't fault their petrol or diesel.

I live within 5 miles of Costco Lakeside so I pass there often so I only ever fill up there. I know most people say there is no difference between the premium and non premium fuel, but when the premium fuel is the same price if not cheaper than non premium elsewhere then why not go for it.
