Only option they offer for shipping is nearly 12 quid too.

Odd because everywhere else the code CH-9000081-UK is for the non rgb version?

Looks to me like AWD-IT have the wrong Manufacturer Code on this. Should be CH-9000082-UK, not CH-9000081-UK. Anyone thinking of buying this should make sure it`s the RGB version.

The K series is built better, not plastic, but the white keyboard background gives the lights a better glow, and they're supposed to be brighter too in general.

Strafe is a cheaper, lower quality model but they use the exact same cherry key, so it should not matter. i did get the strafe if it cheaper

Left a message with the site, I'll update in the morning with the answer of which one it is. (If there's any left)

Listing has been amended to White LED now.

This is the old version which lacks any sort of shielding. As a result the LEDs are incredibly prone to dying and you have to either RMA the keyboard or take it apart and replace them yourself
Lux is the name of the new model that actually has shielding and theoretically better led life

However, you could buy this, replace it under RMA if there's issues with LED's.
Repeat with a request for an RGB if the replacement has issues.
Result: K95 RGB for £90
Source: Exactly how I now have a K95 RGB :smile: (the classier "sails" model too).
I'd... semi researched it before making the purchase with the intention to follow this exact path (though accepting if mine survived, I was happy with it). Bit of effort and messing around but beats paying £170 for a nice keyboard.

This model is better than the RGB IMO, macros don't require the corsair software and my current RGB one seems to take a while to get itself sorted out when I boot up. Corsair RMA will replace this model with an RGB one of any of the LEDS die as well, so no need to worry about that.
Link only goes to the White LED model NOT the RGB LED model!..

Anyone know if I can get the 'CH-9101012-UK' any cheaper?

So are you saying when one of your led's died that when you RMA it, they gave you the RGB version free of charge?

Actually your the idiot my friend. If you bothered to read the full thread you would see that AWD-IT made an error with the Manufacturer Code... :stuck_out_tongue:

When the replacement had the same issues, rather than a 3rd of the same, yep
