Just to let you know the item number is the same for both battery and mains star lights.
I reserved online and when i collected my order , i was given battery operated ones. I asked the guy to check if it came with mains ( as reviews say people were also given mains or battery ) . He checked his stock , and came back with mains , same line number just different box , so worth checking if you want a specific one

Funny how people are referring to these lights as 'chavtastic' and mentioning 'council estates'.. they're goddamn Christmas lights, not Sergio Tacchini tracksuits!

Went down in price it looks like. I ordered 2 yesterday for £3.99 each. Got free next day home delivery. Both are battery operated, so gonna return it. The price went down 50p as well.

Thats not fair, I live in a town with as many junkies as chavs, mind you I live in the only decent large mass area and I dont see many till I'm im town. Mind you I know nothing of Norwich other than its a place name in England whole place could be like was it Cumbernauld in the 70/80/90s where town centre was locked up at night. haha Still doesnt excuse OP comment. I grew up fortunate in a good area surrounded by those that thought they were better than most and they are as intolerable as junkies stotting about out there face or those screaming at their kids, I dont give a hoot of your background or dress sense (that alone can mean poor health, budgeting etc) but your behaviour to other humans.
The ironicness of a HUKD poster posting such comments - perhaps most of them Norwich 'chavs' and else where would be thankful of a webste that helped along, every little helps everybody to financial cope better and thus plan.
Id much have the good neighbour that has some festive cheer with star lights at christmas than a BMW owner thinking they are 'archie of the street all bloody year!

Can you get white, heterosexual, higher tax bracket, housing associations ? wow that's a new one on me - even the salary rich but over extended credit poor get help housing these days, i thought that would be discriminatory but must be ok if a % are mixed

I'm taking mine back too. I wouldn't say they're warm white. I'd be disappointed if I'd paid £10 that's for sure

They are not bad for £3.99 and take 2 x AA batteries.

just bought some, they are rubbish, dont even flash and are battery operated, the picture shows larger stars in the middle which is a lie.. back to the shop for me! feel like pound land lights
HavanaBaby
30 Nov 16#35
also they are slightly different so if you want a pair for Windows close together don't get one mains and one battery as they'll look odd IMO

I ordered two and got one battery and one mains. I asked them to get me two the same. battery ones are in very small rectangular box and mains are in larger squarer box if that helps. all same catalogue number and in store advertised as 4.99

I voted hot before I picked them up. I am very disappointed and don't think they are worth £3.99. They are battery powered and very cheap looking sadly.
