I agree. Crayola crayons work well and last ages. Cheap ones barely go on paper and end up getting chucked away. I'd rather pay 5x for crayola than get cheap ones.

I got this before and returned it. Very poor. Much better with a Crayola Twistables set for around same price, and they last years! http://www.argos.co.uk/product/9060357

Thanks OP These are cheap, loads of crayons and the felt tips are barely poundshop quality, but you do get a lot for this price. Crayola do a reasonable quality level of Kids Drawing colouring stuff, costs fair bit more though. I usually try to get a few bits when they are on offer price, keep the grandchildren occupied. Kids do know the difference.

Not as good as it seems at first. When you look closely there are duplicates, eg 6 identical green crayons, 8 red pastels etc.

It's not actually as big as portrayed, and I agree Serialkillerz82 Chad valley is cheap and cheerful

Looks great (size wise) but Chad Valley has always disappointed in our house. Cheap and cheerful!

Wow! That certainly looks big from the picture. Reminds me of those inflatable paddling pools showing a whole family of four up to their chests in a six foot by thirty inch pool...
