Not true, I play MWR and I don't have Infinite warfare. I just bought a code.

As an avid fan of the COD series, I have to say IW is absolute rubbish especially in multiplayer mode. I would like to play Remastered but not paying &42 just for that! I'll keep waiting!

I echo what everyone else is saying, IW is the worst COD I've ever played and I regret wasting my money on it. BF1 murders this

I hate the new cods but the remaster is amazing and the new game is surprisingly good too! Quality story and fluid gameplay. Don't get the hate on this. Credit where credits due I say.

Crazy how much this keeps dropping. Going to be a decent price on black Friday. Campaign and zombies of iw is pretty good but mp is rubbish.

Buy Titanfall 2 if you want to play a game which is pretty much what cod "should" be at this point. Amazing game, tonne of fun.

You need infinite warfare disc

Some newbie on eBay was selling 10 copies of the legacy edition PS4 for £29.95 (physical copy), they sold with in an hour or so, if they receive anything in the post I would be surprised.

No code for the Xbox version so you can sell on both games unlike ps4

I believe the Xbox version is both games on one disc for physical copies. You can play the remaster without IW only if u have purchased digitally, but of course you cannot sell on any of them. They are trying to prevent the selling on of games

This version requires the IW disc though. I bought a code for the remaster from CDKeys, when it was cheaper, and only that version doesn't require IW. Smash is correct. You cannot sell IW in this set to get the remaster cheap.

You seem to think cdkeys magically got another version. They didn't. They took the codes from physical copies. There are no codes available anywhere else. It is the only way they could get them. If CDKeys work without a disc then so do these.

Actually that's not true. The codes CDKeys use are from the console bundles. Without getting too technical, those codes use a different download pattern off the PSN database. Basically, the console "codes" have an activation key for multiplayer contained in their actual download.
The versions that have IW on disc, actually do not download with the MP key within in them. The key for online play is the disc. Whilst those versions are able to play single player, they need the disc as an activation key in order to play multiplayer. This can easily be seen in the permissions section on the PS4.

Yes, they did get a different version. A friend bought a key from a legacy edtion boxed copy. Guess what? It didn't work. Mine however, does. So how did that work then if they're not different?

Probably, or Activision will be providing Amazon/Game with download codes to sell at some point maybe and they split those. However they did it, I'm just glad I didn't have to buy IW. :laughing:

IW is on the disc and you then download MW when the disc is in, there is no code to enter so you can still sell both games together and the next person can download the remaster ...something you can't do with the ps4 version

There is 2 versions.

Digital Legacy Edition = 1 code (Not able to split. It is one code for both games)

Physical Legacy Edition = Disc & Code (Able to be split as there is a code for MW Remastered only)

There is no other version of the game. Unless you are saying Activision have dealt directly with cdkeys and gave them a version they are not giving any other huge retailer ?

You can't split digital codes for the Legacy Edition. They are one code. When it is activated it gives you both games. The only way to get a separate code for MW Remastered is via the Physical edition. CDKeys usually get them by either splitting physical packs themselves (they end up selling pre order bonuses and digital extras separately) or buying in bulk the codes from elsewhere that have already been split.

You are wrong. End of. Either CD Keys sold bundle codes or have access to the same codes that the publishers provide to Game and Amazon. Either way, I don't really care as my code works without IW. These disc versions will not.

See my post above for proof Pacman. It really isn't a lie. They could be from console bundles or from vouchers that are given to Amazon/Game when they sell digital titles too. Either way, that version works without IW. These won't unfortunately. I cannot recommend purchasing one from CDKeys now as they put the price up to £57.99 (I paid £31.24). This is the cheapest way to get the remaster now. Just remember to not sell IW. :smiley:

No they can't. Digital Legacy Editions are one code that can't be split. Go buy a digital Legacy edition from any retailer and see what you get.

Because they split it from a physical version. The physical version gives you a code for COD4. That means this deal and all other physical copies work without the disc.

Yes i do. The game works. You can point to any writing you wish. Again, there are only 2 versions. One that is digital. That is one code and gives you both COD4 and Infinite Warfare. Then there is Physical. A disc for Infinite Warfare and a code for COD4. How do you get a code for COD4 without splitting a Physical if there isn't any other version that has one ? If so how do you get a version no other retailer (many much larger) can get ?

As i was having the conversation i considered if the console bundle codes were somehow different. It makes the need for the disc for other versions even crazier then.

We all know CDKeys is a "reseller" so they probably bought these keys from elsewhere. How? I have absolutely no idea, but they work. Not worth what they charge now mind. £57.99 currently :neutral_face:

Still at least this gives a little hope for those waiting on Activision to release it separately as there is a version on the store ready as we speak. Very shady of them to do it mind.

It has to be from splitting bundles. The only way they could do it is if the console bundle codes somehow don't require discs. Only other way would be the Physical and as they don't work just leaves console bundles. When they buy elsewhere they just buy codes that have been taken from bundles or taken from Physical copies in bulk. My disc drive is broke and all i want is COD4. Stupid Activision :smile:

Think you're right there as the bundles don't seem to say they include the Legacy Edition. Both are downloads too it seems.

That makes sense for it to be that. May keep an eye on ebay for any bundle codes.
