"Will price drop further?" - well yes, games don't go up in value generally.

Think most people only want it for remastered CoD, the Beta of the new one just didn't do it for me

If you have intention on buying the season pass then the Legacy pro Edition is only £69.99 at Simply games.

This. And generally is right, if it isn't Nintendo or some limited edition game then it will lose its value.

It will, don't worry. And if it doesn't, you will be able to pick up a copy with games with gold early next year i expect.

Despite the hate, I actually like inifinte warfare.
Campaign is great, zombies is fun, and multiplayer is quite fun as I like the whole doing challenges to get keys to unlock special stuff in crates.
Granted there is microtransactions, but it is rng so not entirely pay to win, unless of course you can't get duplicates.

Purchased for £62 as a pre order from Amazon via prime, will they refund the difference now that price has dropped?

amazon are **** for reducing pricing when ive just ordered something. wont reimburse even though i ordered yesterday
ando to wildswan
9 Nov 16#14
Just tell them you're returning the one you ordered then and order it again, then ask them to refund the difference, if they won't just follow through with the return

Not as good as the Simply games deal yesterday but this shows that sales haven't been great for this game as I haven't seen discounts on cod games less than a week after release before.

Purchased this double pack on Friday, traded in on Monday. Yes, that bad. Such a shame as I wanted to enjoy these games.

Don't be daft. The remaster of MW is fantastic, with pretty much universal acclaim from everyone.

PS4 copy is £57.99 at Zavvi using code 'SOAP' aswell (prefer amazon myself and have prime so I can get it for the same price)

It seems like they no longer refund the difference as they did last time few months. They told me to return it and re-order. I guess i'll return it and stick to BF1 this year.

Infinite warfare multiplayer it rubbish just as bad as advanced warfare. Only buy this if you want modern wf2. And that's a bit boring now everyone knows the maps too well. Feel I got robbed paying £64 last week
crazzzzzy_b
9 Nov 16#32
1 player infinite is decent , just don't like multiplayer jumping about too annoying
That article is a little misleading, as it doesn't mention the fact that digital sales of the game weren't taken into account

COD Lost the plot a long time ago. Oh the days of MW when it was a real game. Moved onto BF and havent looked back although I skipped hardline

I said I found it strange how the price had decreased so soon after release and it felt unfair for those that had it on pre-order. I also mentioned that I would buy it again at the new price and return it as my original order if the difference could not be refunded.
The woman replied saying she'd refund the difference right away, didn't have to fight for it or anything. Nice and simple.

Does the code work alone for cod4 remastered ? Or do you need the disc!?
Norwichlad to gordondr1980
10 Nov 16#41
You need the IW disk to play MW
iamthelloyd to gordondr1980
10 Nov 16#42
i know somebody else has already replied to you, but just wanted to confirm to you that yes, disc IS required... I booted up MWR without the disc present (to see what would happen)... You get the opening light green on green/black Developer logos then as soon as the title screen pops up it requests that you insert the Infinite Warfare disc.
ChrisK64
10 Nov 16#40
Do they sell remastered modern warfare on its own?
Rossmor40 to ChrisK64
10 Nov 16#46
As far as I know at the minute retailers aren't supposed to sell MW on its own but the likes of cdkeys are doing this but the price is extortionate. For example they are charging £57.99 for MW digital edition on its own and £74.99 for the two games so even with the 5% cdkeys Facebook like discount this Amazon deal is better.
Btw they were charging £44.99 for this version on release day which was still too much so you can see how much they've put the price up in less than a week.
iamthelloyd
10 Nov 161#43
Cold [joke!] as we all should have Barry Allen's abilities to go back in the timeline to when the Argos misprice happened [£40 - happy days when they honoured that]

10 Nov 16#44
I'm confused how the code works... do you get one for Modern Warfare included in the box? Once redeemed, is MW linked to your account (provided you have a IW disc)? If you buy a used Legacy Edition then do you only get IW?
iamthelloyd
10 Nov 161#45
Correct... In the box you get a code that must be redeemed to download MWR, but once you've downloaded it you MUST have the Infinite Warfare Disc present to play the game... Second guessing what you may be thinking, yes pre-owned copies will not entitle you to MWR (as the code will have likely already been redeemed)

Didn't enjoy the Remaster at all sorry. Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 make a mockery of this double pack I'm afraid.
horsepills
10 Nov 16#49
Interesting...what was it about the remaster that you didn't enjoy?
horsepills
10 Nov 16#50
This may be correct for ps4 edition, but on xb1 you don't need any download code. Once you insert the disk you get the option to download either IW or MW (or both), and you need the disk to play either.
Snarf_Dude
10 Nov 16#51
It just felt 'dated' mate. I loved MW and MW2 back in the day, but First Person Shooters have evolved a lot since then. Just my humble opinion though. Have you tried Battlefield 1 + Titanfall 2 yet?
darkspace100
10 Nov 16#52
Sadly I feel the same. It doesn't help that it isn't really COD 4. Its Advanced Warfare pretending to be COD 4.
Claydon94
11 Nov 16#53
I don't actually rate either of them tbh... loved COD 4 in the day but its showing its age in my opinion even with the Remaster + COD IW is too hard online.
