For those wanting to know how MW Remastered works:
PS4: it's a digital download, redeemed via a code, requiring the disc to play.
XB1: it's on-disc, no code required
I know the Legacy Pro Edition is £5 more than it was last week, but it's still £20 cheaper than elsewhere.
Heated mate, appreciate the share

Is MW a download code in the case? I know you need the disc to start it but was just wondering.

It isnt a code, its just included on the disc and prompts a large download when you install.

Pretty much the same here. Shops have massively overstocked, from what I hear from friends. People don't want to grab it at such a high price even if there is a remastered game included.

ROFL!!!!
I consider myself a fan of COD/BF and other FPS'. But given they specifically decided to lock MWR to the disc of IW knowing people only really wanted MWR really annoyed me.
I've also fallen out of love with COD multiplayer, it's not what it was and IW is just BLOPS3 'remastered' even down to the identical UI.
I almost bit at this price, but given the trade in price will be terrible just like AW's was and unless Activision decide to unlock the MWR when the eventual digital release happens I don't think I will.

Yes, I posted as I thought a decent price for both games and season pass, others didn't agree...
This doesn't already count? :stuck_out_tongue: £79.99 > £49.99 within two weeks is very rapid.

16 Nov 161#53
Possibly, possibly not. The fact that there's no standalone version of Modern Warfare Remastered may mean that the Legacy Edition doesn't fall too much further... but given the especially rapid drop here, you may be right.
£40 would be my ideal biting point, but the above is why I think I'd go for it at £50.

Xbox One - yes (MWR is on the disc)

I have too much to play, so will wait until it hits <£15 on Xbox one. I know I'll be waiting a long time but I am in no hurry, as I have too many games and no where near enough time.
I packed up my wii, ps3 and 360 a couple of days ago and still had close to 200 games I hadn't played, some which are still in the wrapper.

Infinite Warfare is on a disc. It must be inserted to play MWR, which is a code.
Illusionary
17 Nov 161#76
Not quite - this is mixing up the situation for the Xbox One and PS4 versions.
PS4: it's a digital download, redeemed via a code, requiring the disc to play.
XB1: it's on-disc, no code required
I'm referring to PS4 only. I keep forgetting that I posted an Xbox One link too lol. Thanks for clarifying. I will add your link to the OP

Yes, for XB1. The disc triggers the download, but the actual game (MWR) isn't on the disc. However, the disc is still required to play. They couldn't just make it simple like Gat Out Of Hell and Saints Row IV.

I got a good deal on an Xbox One S a couple of weeks back that came with FIFA and IW bundled, couldn't find anywhere bundling the legacy edition. Decided to try it anyway and not a fan at all, first time playing cod since MW3 and not into all the boosting crap. Borrowed the legacy version hoping to trade IW for £20 and out that towards the legacy edition, this is a good price, best I've seen, think it will go any lower? Heat added.
