They did sell MW remastered on its own but you need a copy of infinite warfare to play it thus it wasn't really any different from the legacy edition.

Although I know already, Titanfall 2 will still hold my attention and this will go on the shelf with battlefield 1. Unlike the silly haters out there, this fall there is a FPS for everyone.

Ok I have just purchased and does indeed come as two separate codes for each of the two games! Possibly the only way to skip on Infinite assuming you can find buyer for the 2nd code.

It should be interesting to see if the necessity for the Infinite disc turns out to be true with the hard copy! Always sounded unlikely to me but this whole episode has left a bad taste and so unnecessary! They could and should have sold each separately I think it has become a bit of PR disaster.

I've seen a few selling Infinite codes from their slim bundles on Ebay! Be a bummer if they found that they'd sold the key to their multiplayer.

For Digital Legacy and Digital Deluxe Editions of Infinite Warfare on PS4, there is no game disc or voucher code. An internet connection is required to download content. Modern Warfare Remastered and Infinite Warfare are two separate downloads and there is no requirement to have both installed in order to play either piece of content. No game disc is required if you purchased the Digital Legacy or Digital Deluxe Edition of Infinite Warfare.

Once the modern warfare code is used from the physical edition it can't be redeemed again anyway and you need the IW disc to play MW. At least with this you can use the MW code and sell the IW code if you don't want IW.

All my mates are buying it to play MW. I understand that MW was a fantastic but when you think about it, it's absolutely absurd to pay £60 for a game that came out over 10years ago. That game has had it's day and what a day that was however it's the devs job to ensure that gamers will NEVER look back, the fact they've remastered and included it is like acceptance of the fact the franchise is in decline and they admittedly know it.

I'm a huge COD fan but it's completely left everything i personally enjoyed behind, especially the tactical/teamwork/communication side. Played the beta and it's dead for me. I'll be rolling Gears 4, as it's still the same formula that i enjoyed originally but they've never changed it, just improved that formula.

EA read the situation right by going back in time with Battlefield 1.

Enough said.

I only received a CoD 4 remastered code and a map pack code... why haven't I received an Infinite Warfare code?

Voted Hot for the price. But not purchasing myself. Played the IW beta's and left me seriously cold. Will wait for the MW remaster release on its own, failing which I'll skip this edition. I still enjoy BO3 and even AW on occasion. IW just doesn't play like COD should. Disappointed.

For everyone who's wondering, I am playing MW REMASTERED without even entering the IW code. I think this was the only way to get them separately (if you sell the IW code). You think it would now be safe to sell my infinite warfare code?

The IW single player campaign is supposed to quite good. Not tried it yet as the PlayStation Store is slow as feck even on a 500mb connection.
