​I have a top of the range Samsung 4k 10 bit HDR and the PS4 Pro and when you change the settings to 4k on Tomb Raider the difference is barely noticeable. Still a beautiful looking game though but don't believe the hype on the Pro. Will take developers a while to get the best out of it.

i had a feeling this would have happened fast because it was a year out on the xbox... cant really complain though because i thought the game was amazing. Well worth full price so this is even better

It's still an amazing game, plus you get all the DLC and the VR experience. A great package but ,yeah, it was a shame we had to wait

I rarely pay full price for games anyway but I think I can wait for a £25 price tag for this. it gives me a chance to get through some of my backlog in the meantime lol

Decent price. Personally holding out for a sub £20 deal, or will get at Xmas.

I went in GAME tonight and the Pre-owned TR is £29.99 and brand new is £30, cancelled my order from Amazon as currently out of stock! may aswell pop in your local GAME store tomorrow for your copy

The latest patch 1.05 is really bad, it made the frame rate dip like crazy. I sold the game as it annoyed me so much and refuse to buy it again until they make it run smooth again.

Fantastic find, just ordered. Flubit gave me £36 as their best price yesterday and I was close to paying for Amazon Prime to get it for £30.

Sony had very brief exclusivity on those DLC's, Square Enix deprived PS4 owners of a game that owes its success to Sony and Playstation for a year whilst Xbox owners enjoyed the benefit of such.

How is timed exclusivity with a one year duration "brief"? Square Enix (a business) took money from Microsoft. Colour me surprised.

If you want to buy it second hand be my guest but don't complain when Square don't make a third game due to poor sales figures.

I though the last Tomb Raider was (totally unexpectedly) one of the best games of the 360 generation. I got this one a few weeks back, and it's just as good. Rarely have I jumped as much on a game as playing the witch bit. There is something deeply satisfying about this game, Laura is a total badass making mincemeat of the Russians and whoever else gets in her way.

I won't pay this much for a game that's 1 year old. I'll wait until it's cheaper

To those saying its not worth this price as its 'a year old already'. Yes us PS4 owners had to wait but this is a phenomenal game and absolutely worth £30. There is so much content after finishing and 100%'ing the main story. The range of 'Expeditions' are pretty much worthy of being a game in themselves, Endurance is really refreshing and insanely addictive. The Croft manor DLC story was also a really nice addition and something a bit different.
I never thought i'd say this but I enjoyed this game more than Uncharted 4. Uncharted wins on story and overall presentation but there is just so much more to do in this game, and the overall gameplay is just more fun and engaging.
As a fan since the very first game its so nice to see Lara and the Tomb Raider franchise relevant and an A++ title once again.

Aside - this is basically a game of the year edition (had it been previously released already on PS4), so it would be normal for it to relaunch at a higher price than the basic original game without the extra content.

Did it give you a message to say it recorded your visit? Do you have an adblock on? I used to get messages saying I needed to turn the adblock off so that it can go through.

He has a point though. There's a massive difference from around 8ft away from my Sammy 51" between the old ps4 and new.

I think people were expecting improvements to quality rather than just a resolution bump.

End of the day, i can't see jaggies or pixel crawl anymore on the supported games, and no more blurriness or fuzziness due to poor AA implementations.

Unless you have your nose pressed up against the TV and are actively looking at the edges of objects in static images then you won't have a clue that it's not true 4k.

Battlefield 1 actually has playable framerates on 64 player servers now!!!

An extension in your browser for blocking ads. If you never added one yourself then you must not have it unless someone else done it. I'm using uBlock Origin
