When I bought a Millennium Falcon last week it scanned at £94.99, I pointed out it was £89.99 online and they were very happy to price match

Bought online.
Returned to store.
Attendant screwed up the refund, refunding me both the store prices + 20 off 100 discount code.
I pointed out the error, but they couldn't reverse the refund; £30 profit

anyone up for halfing cost of Falcon by buying two??

10 Nov 16#14
Isn't your maths a bit off there?
It'd be 75% of the original price for each, as you're paying 150% for two (rather than 200% for two).

Yeah generally you can't have both a low price and the offer

10 Nov 161#13
Yep, I'll give you half the money for one £45

10 Nov 16#15
Yes £90 for 1, the 2nd would be £45, £67.50 each
UltimatePhoenix
11 Nov 16#16
yeh I meant half of what buying two would be, as pointed out 67.50

Would I be able to reserve online for click and collect and still get the offer?

In all honesty I can't see why this is so hot. Almost every set has a higher price listed than at Argos, and that very recent 3-for-2 was a better offer (effectively 33% off prices that were mostly reduced vs this being 25% off prices that are mostly not reduced)
E.g. People are mentioning the Millennium Falcon and yet this has been cheaper in the last 4 big sales (Argos and Tesco 3-for-2's, ASDA 20% off and Smyths vouchers) - as low as £60 in fact.
The only benefit I can see would be on the really big sets or modular buildings which can't be found elsewhere?
But to the everyday Lego buyer there is little value I can see?

Well in THEORY they will match argos... however - will they with this offer and vouchers too?

Thanks...Made the most of this offer today, I got two £55 sets with the free minifigs for £83 and they still gave me the £15 gift card, so it's the total before the discount that counts for the free £15.. Also got two £23 sets for £34 and still qualified for another box of free minifigs when you spend over £45! Very pleased.

Thanks so much for posting this OP - me and a friend both looking for the millennium falcon for our kids for Xmas. Price matched against Asda (they're selling it for £79 currently) and BOGOHP - so two falcons, £15 voucher, 4 x minifigure pack and Star Wars figure for £118.50! Delighted with that, instore price was £119.99 for one  Heat added xx
