Half Price. Brown only, the other colours are 29.99.
Might be a nice present for someone at Xmas. Get those old records out the loft! Plug and play - no need for external speakers although you can connect it up if you want and all required leads are included.
Gets fairly good reviews too. 4 out of 5 stars.

I worry these things will put off any budding vinyl fans, it is all well and good saying dont post stuff £150 more expensive, but seriously, these things have plastic tonearms and 1930's ceramic carts that will destroy a record in about 20 plays.
You can buy a really nice budget Project that will last 10-20 years for a £150, or this which will last about a year.
It doesnt matter how cheap they are, they are worthless crap.

The biggest problem posting anything to do with music is that you always get these wannabe audiophiles hijacking the thread and offering alternatives that cost considerably more. I once saw people recommending £150+ speakers in a deal for a set that cost around £20. It's annoying!
Props to rqmusicfan for posting a similarly priced alternative!

There's an Akai one in Morrisons that's going for £30, not sure if anyone's posted it here already but it seems pretty decent for the price and it works as a bluetooth speaker too. Here's a review The Vinyl Factory did of the Akai turntable
Reminds me of days when I was a kid & this was the only kind of thing I had to play with. Automatic arm, no queuing, no replaceable cartridge just flip over stylus for 45/78 & badly scratched records  Still have feeling it will have sounded better tho' as valves were the flavour of the day, no plastic platter & nice large easy to drive speaker (yep, mono!)

Most of my records have been shoved up in the loft for 25 years so who cares if they get ruined. When I pop my clogs the kids will only chuck them in a skip.

If that’s the best effort they can do for advertising pictures, I'd steer clear,
Look at the s**t build quality, photo 2 - zoom in on deck screw on front left!
Also description is wrong - no line out, only line IN.

Headphone socket can be used as line out apparently.

To be honest if you want to play records you need a proper turntable amp and speakers otherwise just stick with cd you will struggle to get a decent stylus for this price but I suppose if you want to play some old records it's ok but make sure they are not too valuable

I'm far from a hi-fi snob but I would imagine they sound awful - not voted either way as I have not experienced the product.

bought this as a pressie only about a week ago at 29.99.
it's obviously a deal good deal compared to that but half price is stretching it a bit far.

I think you're completely correct . No way worth 50 but at 25 seems very reasonable.
