Cooking Guidelines:
Cooking Instructions (General): Appliances may vary, cooking times are for guidance only.
Microwave (From Ambient): 800W - 7 mins
900W - 6 mins
Dry the potatoes after washing and pierce several times with a fork. Microwave on full power for 3 mins 30 secs (800W) or 3 mins (900W). Turn potato over and heat on full power for another 3 mins 30 secs (800W) or 3 mins (900W). If cooking more than one potato, increase cooking time accordingly. Leave potato to stand for 2 mins after cooking. To get a crispy skin on your potato, finish cooking in the oven.
Oven cook (From Ambient): Fan 180°C / 200°C / Gas 6 60-80mins
Preheat oven. Dry the potatoes after washing and pierce several times with a fork. Place potatoes directly on oven shelf and bake for 60-80 mins or until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
Cooking tip: push a metal skewer through the potatoes and cook with it in place to reduce cooking time by 15 mins.

Potatoes do NOT come out of the ground that would be filthy dirty and disgusting. They come from the potato factory which is managed to modern hygienic standards. People today and their funny ideas.
