Great headphones although it was a total bummer on the flight to oz when I realised I had lost the cable for the plane headphone adaptor

Just ordered a pair in Black. This should be a red hot deal as I've been looking for 3 weeks. The standard price of £269.99 they offer is the cheapest I've seen anyway but with that 10% its ace! Opted to collect from the warrington branch so awaiting an email letting me know when they're ready. Shame they don't offer specific delivery dates as I would've paid extra for that

I thought this was just an overpriced set of headphones until I tried a pair. They genuinely are amazing and the noise cancellation and comfort are very good. Highly recommend. Battery lasts ages too!

Awesome headphones, can't recommend them enough. Never been a fan of Bose but these are something else, makes flying a joy.

Great find! I had my eyes on some active noise cancellation headphones for years, primarily for plane journeys. However I could never justify the price for only occasional use. Although recently I have changed jobs and am commuting into London via train so have had my eyes on these. Wanting the reassurance of John Lewis (customer service, no hassle returns etc) I filled out the online form for Never Knowingly Undersold. I got a reply the next day saying they would match £249.99, but only online, which meant I would have to pay full price and then I would later be refunded the difference. Regardless of this, I enquired in store today and the manager I dealt with had no problems matching the price and for me to buy them then and there.

But ended up buying two pairs because the wife wanted some as well

Do you know if they would match the price after promo code applies(£242)?

16 Nov 16#23
I went in and showed this post, paid an extra 5p for bag but overall £243.04 from John Lewis. they should price match and will beat again if it goes lower in black Friday supposedly (wether or not you want to test that is your call)
rosselliottsmith
16 Nov 16#24
Yep. They matched the £242.99

Anyone think this will be bettered on Friday?

23 Nov 16#31
Grabbed the last black one. Tried to get JL to price match but they just wouldn't agree to the £242.99 price. I just hope I don't actually have to wait 4 weeks for delivery!
badgerman261
23 Nov 16#32
Well done. I kept adding that one in my basket and debating should I or shouldn't I pull the trigger 2 days before Black Friday. I notice the 10% finishes tomorrow night so will be interesting if they up that % on Friday morning.
iKayZee to badgerman261
23 Nov 16#33
If they do that I'll just ask for a refund for the difference in price.

23 Nov 16#34
Ordered. I have a pair of QC15's that are still going strong after 5 years and 300k airmiles not to mention daily use for commuting. If these last as long at this price, it's a bargain.
Sound quality is good enough, not class leading but for comfort they are #1. I can easily wear these for hours.
Great find and thanks for sharing.

APTX receiver and transmitter between devices. Not much of a loss. Bose aren't known to be fantastic for their sound profile either.

Give the Sony's MDR 1000x a go before you go for these... superior sound and noise cancelling, the QC35 are slightly more comfortable.

28 Nov 161#58
I would've gone for the Senns but the Momentum 2.0 are quite uncomfortable. I have the HD555, HD595 and PC360 so I'm a big Senn fan but the QC35 was just too bloody comfortable on my head!

Get the Phillips wireless bluetooth for £35. Awesome!

27 Nov 16#54
True, but if you are travelling you can get them from Dixons for £270.
The sound, NC and extra features make it worth the extra money.

But if I'm travelling surely the Bose would also be further reduced no?

28 Nov 16#57
Not necessarily, Dixons were doing a special deal on the Sony's, they might just price match Amazon on the QC35s.
zoso1313
28 Nov 16#59
yah they are very very comfortable! I love that Senheisser sound - I've got HD650s, and now the Momentum. the 650s are incredible, but obviously don't give that flexibility you get with wireless. plus they annoy my missus because they're open back.
Absolutely loving the Momentums, they practically live on my head in the evening!

Good Evening,
Thank you very much for placing your BOSE QC35 order with Martin Dawes. due to unforeseen circumstances we are extremely disappointed to have to inform that we aren’t going to be able to fulfil your purchase.

Order has been cancelled by Martin Dawes - they have had my money since 23rd November and I am still waiting for a refund. Unfortunately they are not recommended and one to watch out for. I'll be speaking to my credit card company next week if the refund is still pending.
