Bosch Rotak 34 R Corded Rotary Lawnmower, 34 cm Cutting Width.
1300 W Powerdrive motor ensures a reliable cut in long or wet grass.
34 cm cutting diameter ideal for small to medium lawns up to one tennis court.
Double folding handles and stackable grassbox for compact storage.
Unique grass combs cut right up to and over the edge
Single lever height of cut adjustment from 20-70 mm to suit different lawn conditions.
Unfortunately seems to be prime only, but looks like a good deal to me for those who have it.

Question: how does this mower fit into the size shown on the outside box?
I have just unpacked and put the handle on it and only way seems to be removing the handle assembly fully unlike my old flymo where the handle pivots to allow it to fold back itself. This is like rebuilding the handle assembly every time I use it which is not on.

You can see in the picture that's how they did it.
Its a lawnmower what do you think the latest model does different? cuts with lasers?

No one like the 43 at £100? I'm surprised no deal posted on here. I only mention as I'm tempted to get that one.

I did and bought one, definitely the bargain of the two, much bigger reduction from the normal price and Which's 2016 best buy. Part of their premium range rather than the made for the warehouses range, obviously another £40 though.

Thanks OP. Been in mourning for a few weeks after mine got pinched and didnt fancy buying one at full price. I used mine regularly for two years with no issues and all my neighbours were jealous of the immaculate stripes it gave me. Back on it next summer

Just purchased. Thanks. Also note that I do not have a prime account and paid £61.99 with free
postage. Heat added.

Great mower and yes it does do stripes.
Bought mine last year for £90 and it has done 2 summers now. It has had some pretty harsh treatment so surprised it is still going. It does a great job as well and makes your lawn look like Wimbledon centre Court with its stripes.
If the grass is long (more than 5cm) and slightly damp it does get clogged easily. However if you regularly mow your lawn then you will be fine.
About 1000 x better than my old flymo which was awful and did a terrible job. Worth this price for sure.

Excellent mower at a great price! Heat added. The 'lesser' 32R model is 80 quid!
Does stripes pretty well (if you don't believe me look at the various customer reviews with included pics!)

I've got the 32 r and it's the best electric mower I've ever had - brilliant cut and the stripes - I do have a 40m square lawn though so I don't need any more!

Had mine over 2 years and it's been faultless, paid around this price or slightly more. Will give good striping as long as your grass is in good condition.

Amazon regularly discount these Bosch mowers. I have it's slightly bigger brother, the 36R. Got it last year for £69 from amazon. It's a decent mower in that it cuts well but it is built down to a price and it's unlikely to be able to last more than a few years of regular use on my mid size and even lawn more before things start breaking/falling off.

Good mower for that price, but the handle switch broke on mine after only a summers worth of use. Cord isn't particularly long either.

any sensibly priced alternatives with larger cutting width?
