I have an older model of this and use it whenever I can so I don't have to get my big 2.5kg 18v Makita combi drill out to run a few screws into something. Great for flatpacks, replacing door handles/hinges, light fittings, switches, plug sockets etc etc. No way my Makita would have fit in half the spaces this has and rarely do i find a stubborn screw this cant handle.
This isn't "a tool for wimps" - it's a tool for those who don't need to compensate!

A cordless drill or screwdriver is essential for anyone putting in a large number of screws. Even hanging a door is about 22 screws, which is hard work by hand. When doing ceilings or floors, I would never want to put a hundred screws in by hand. Even if a cordless drill would be the first choice there.
I see the cordless screwdriver as potentially very useful for the cases where the space is too small to get my cordless drills in (e.g. between rafters)..

As soon as woman stop saying "ohhh i can't use a drill i'm only a girl, you'll need to do it for me" then i'll not make comments like this.

I was sceptical but the previous good comments here swung me a year or so ago. It is indeed good for flatpacks, I used mine with a hex bit to build a garden seat that had dozens of long bolts, it saved a huge amount of time.
The torque is such that it's good for almost anything, I used to try hand-tightening things with a screwdriver after the Ixo had stopped turning but very rarely did I need to tighten anything so I rarely bother now. As mentioned in other comments it's strong enough that you do need to be careful when screwing something that could be damaged by too much torque.
I would recommend using quality bits with any powered screwdriver though - Wera gold bits from Toolstation are very tough.

Worth paying the extra £250 for the Swarovski version?!
I have one from last time around. Surprisingly powerful, and a useful bit of kit. Just be aware there is no torque adjustment, so take care with small screws.

There is an optional torque adapter - but that will set you back approx £10 (possibly more)

Still waiting for the version with attachments (ideally right angle) to come down to £20, predicting it will happen on Black Friday

I know these are fairly popular but for domestic use I can't see the point of them for anyone who can manipulate a regular screwdriver. For occasional use you're better off with a ratcheting screwdriver with bits, for high torque applications you're better off with a good standard screwdriver, and neither would need charging at all.

I use it daily at work.
Have the makuta 18v and this, goes well together. Nice to use in a few things like network back boxes etc.

I had this with the 32 piece bundle in my basket and noticed that dropped by £10 as well.
