Was looking for a new jigsaw and found this at a huge price drop!
Cheaper than the Body Only version on Amazon itself, Argos or anywhere else. Cheapest price with battery is about £120+ from other merchants.

Mine looks this one but uses the 18v battery (I think this is the 14.4v one) ...
Not sure if the model you mentioned is the newer style or not, sorry. I think the newer one is supplied with blades that are curved, whereas mine are straight. Design looks noticeably different too. Mine came with 1.3ah battery, and doesnt recogise the 1.5ah or 2.0ah batteries I have. I've got 8 batteries (2x1.3ah, 4x1.5ah and 2x2.0ah) but only the 1.3ah work. If it came with 2.0ah then it's probably the newer and probably won't have the issue I have with mine. Best message Bosch with your model number and serial number from the label on the machine and they should be able to tell you which batteries work or not. Sorry I can't help further.

I have the Bosch ART 23-18 LI Cordless Lithium Strimmer - is this the type that is a little fussy with batteries? Does it just not work with the 2Ah variants? Many thanks!!

Shame they don't include the dust collection bag.
I had dust all over my kitchen when I used my jigsaw...

I avoid Bosch blue, all my tools are Hilti and Festool
I've only used it a few times but the battery seems to last ages and the machine is good.
I just need to work out how to use it to cut Perspex without the Perspex shattering :man:

Fine blade, slow speed, Perspex ideally supported as much as possible so it can't move too much, masking tape along cut line.

Great for your DIYER , not for professionals !!!!!

All the green ranges are aimed at DIYers, blue for trade. Any tradesman should already know this. DIYers won't need anything more than this anyway. Had mine a year or so and love it. I have most of the bosch green 18li range so find it useful with batteries mostly being able to swap between them. Only one that's fussy with batteries is the older model strimmer using the 1.3ah only. Good value range. Recommended.

No idea how good the deal is, but cordless jigsaws are brilliant. Ever wondered how to get an old steel water tank out of the loft: cordless jigsaw. Want to cut your worktop outside without mucking around with dragging extension leads up the garden: cordless jigsaw. Need to trim a few branches in the garden: cordless jigsaw.

According to the Camel the deal has never been this good!

Ditto. Also find a reciprocating saw does a decent job with those tasks too. Bosch do a battery one of those for around £75 without a battery. On the lookout for a decent offer for it as I'm using a corded one which is a pain with the trailing cable. Will post the deal if I ever see a decent deal for one.
