Well you can do what I did earlier this week, go to Aldi, pick up a blender, with spice and coffee grinder for £6, yes it has a glass jug. It really is a great little blender. If you buy 3, you'll be £21.99 better off, have goods that are as good quality and not be tied with a company like John Lewis.

I collected this and the jug is very heavy, not good if you don't like picking heavy jugs. The plus side it has a larger capacity 1.5 litres where as the equivalent proved ones have plastic beakers with about 500 or 750ml.
