If you wanted to buy the Tefal Health fryer now online at Tesco Direct, assuming the info is correct (OP has good form in previous Tesco tv deal) they will refund you the £100 when the price drops on Friday with a call into customer service. This is because they price match themselves 28 days post purchase.
Could keep it sealed just in case the retailer changed the promo before going live, as there are free returns.

FROM FRIDAY!

The model is Tefal Fry Delight FX1000.
Tefal has it on some of their European sites, doesn't seem to be for sale in the UK - might be a new model, as consumer reviews and other websites seem to stem from October time.

What happens if I purchase something and it is then reduced?
If an item is reduced once you have purchased it then unfortunately we can not honour the new price.
Items can be returned for a full refund then reordered for the reduced price.
We apologise for any disappointment this may cause.

I bought one, and think it's faulty. The timer knob cannot be turned back, so if I accidentally set it wrong I have to live with it.
I read in the instructions that you can manually turn it off again by turning back the knob to zero.
Can someone please confirm

I have got mine today and tried some some french fries but the outcome wasn't satisfactory as the chips doesn't cooked properly on first 20 minutes then I added another 7 minutes but still not good .I would try one more go tomorrow. Let's see what happens. Anyways mine also hard knob but later realised that the knob need to press very farmly to go reverse.

I felt like if i put any more pressure on the knob it would break something.
Ye, I cooked french fries, and also some somosas. There is a very fine line between cooked and overcooked i think on this. wanted to try out chicken too, but not sure if the machine is faulty. I'll go try turn it harder in a few mins, if that doesn't work I'll probably return it

Yours may faulty, again tefal website says that when you turn back knob to zero it may looks like bit hard but nothing too worry about that as this is normal.

I have ordered this on Thursday for £149. I didn't eanted to miss the deal because of it will be sold out quick.
Then on Friday when price dropped I've rang tesco direct. I asked them if I can get the same deal as of £49.
They have asked me to hold the line while they check if it is still in stock. Once they confirmed it's still available then they refunded me £100.
I didn't need to cancel the order and re oreder at all.
