Is alcohol included? I can't remember if it was excluded last year. As for the 10% discount, yes it's weak but it's on practically everything in store, and if like me you shop around there's several items I buy specially from here as they're cheaper than other stores, add 10% regardless of how little it is I'm still saving more money than if I went elsewhere! Went today and the checkouts were a disgrace. I was there at 9.30 and it would have been a good 15 mins wait to pay. Only wanted 2 packs of bubble gum refills at £6. They got dumped and i left. Dread to see what it will be like tomorrow. People trollys were full.

i also am neither but shop in here on occasion as they do branded food/cleaning stuff etc cheaper sometimes than other places and i find it's also a good place to get cheap arts ans crafts bits for the babe..cheap storage for said art bits as well as the mountains of toys..

not everyone who shops in these shops is a scrounger and i too get a bit offended by certain comments and tbh get a bit fed up of being made to feel bad about stepping foot in these shops!

I see a lot of chav/benefit scrounger comments here, but I shop in B&M a lot and I'm neither. They (along with other similar shops like HB, TK Maxx, ToFS) stock a lot of grey import action figures that I'd otherwise have to pay stupid prices for because companies like Hasbro can't/won't supply the UK at general retail. E.g I recently bought a DC Direct box set of four Batman Arkham figures that would normally have cost me about £20 each for £29.99 in B&M. Last year B&M stocked almost all of the Transformers Generations Voyager figures that never saw UK retail, so I was able to fill a massive hole in my collection for £12.99 per figure as opposed to the £30-£40 per figure it would have cost to get them from Amazon USA.

So, have a thought before you comment as not everyone buys the same things you do!

May I ask what it was like last year? Was it between certain hours and was it packed out all day? The q's take ages in my store even with only 2-3 people paying!! Is it worth it on review? Did anyone get bargains last year?
