I'd love to see this happen one day in England and
possibly stay at this price! Fuel prices are a joke in England currently

Only England? Do the Scots and Welsh not deserve this hope as well.

I hope it's not that laundered fuel from south Armagh

If petrol was 5p a litre in Omagh, it still wouldn't be worth driving to.

No not a Humvee lol but your average car has a 60-70ltr tank diesel round here averages at £1.11.9 per litre they were selling it at 94.9p which is a saving of 17p per litre so on a 60ltr purchase that's a saving of £10.20 on a fill. So if you needed to fill up it wasn't a bad saving but to queue up for an hour to get it was madness I was lucky I got it within 5mins and we got our 3 cars filled all were near empty and saved £30plus and no drums. I live close to the filling station so it was a win win for me. But for people who were just topping up their fuel it wasn't worth while. But it was a win for the consumer either way.

What kind of car you talking about? a Humvee?
It's just all a bit sad though no? getting out drums to fill up with petrol. Pathetic people the lot of them.

for the local news it would be better than watching people fight over Telly's in tesco.

Cold, by the time I travel from the north west to Northern Ireland I'd be out of pocket and fuel :stuck_out_tongue:

If your car was near empty you would save an average of £10 per fill plus people were filling drums of diesel which was saving them on their next fill. I know it isn't a big fortune but it all helps and beats paying the full price any day

True but to save £1 off my total fuel bill i'd rather pay extra to not have to go through all that nonsence!

And it was 93p per litre a few yards up the road at the Culmore filling station!

It was 94.9p at Culmore filling station at 3pm yesterday but they run out of diesel I was there when it happened so maybe they dropped the price after that but there was no fuel

Lol I think they all did it was crazy the amount of vehicles queuing up for fuel with a boot load of jerry cans. But at the same time it was a great black friday deal because at least you were buying something you actually needed and will use to save you money

They were queued the whole way out the Dromore road yesterday and would have taken about 2 hours to get the fuel!

He did mention it was in Omagh!! Bit unfair to mark it cold IMHO. Hot from me and I live no where near (hot for those that do)

Just been down there as I live round the corner, there's two stations either end of Dromore Rd doing same price 94.9p/l .. the fuel is good, I've seen the tankers coming and going a few times to restock - one is a 'Go' branded station and the other is a Star / Nichols lorry.. the funniest thing is I actually witnessed someone filling up at the Asda which is in between at £1.17 per litre!!

Yippee for the umpteen time, we bucked the trend and have cheaper fuel in Northern Ireland than GB. Does anyone know if this is national? If it is I will ask the missus to take the tanker and fill up in Belfast instead of crossing the border :stuck_out_tongue:
