Wierd. On PC I can see the 29.99 price but from my amazon app on the phone it's 39.99. Strange. Got it for 30 quid. Now I need another SSD to host it.

Mate, hook up a 250gb SSD onto your xbox one to make it load faster. Im the first into a game ahead of 40 players on conquest every time because of my SDD. There real easy to install too, you just plug it into usb port on your xbox then move Bf1 from internal to external storage.

Hmmm not sure weather to get it on PC, PS4 or Xbone...............very much doubt that a console version will beat this price in a Black Friday deal ?

I'm not sure what it's like on PC. But the frame-rate is bad on the Xbox One.

PS4 has by far the largest population but PC will let you use a keyboard and mouse . As with all games this generation XB1 has the smallest population and runs the worst but not in a way that's meaningful to your enjoyment of the game.

If you have a pc able to handle it then get pc. Xbox one is 720p 40-60 fps, ps4 900p 40-60 fps. PC is usually the best experience, unless you have friends on the consoles of course!

I do choose the servers i play on as for judging a tripple A title in a few hours, you can...
Bf2 - 2,000+ hours
bf3 - 300 hours yes just 300 because i did not like it and 200hours were just before bf4 released to get my aim in ready for bf4
bf4 i have 1,300+ hours at the moment.
bf1 is going to end up like bf3 if im honest i do not like it.

So just played my first game today and here is what i got.
Ive had to restart the game on pc because it was stuck on a laoding screen (yay) then the balance was attrocious like all dice gameswith it being low ranked players v high ranked players thinking they are gods as they have the map knowledge and the weapons unlocked (seriouslly i was told to use better weapons, which i do not have). I was killed 5/7x by the A-10 model or whatever its called which is currently OP as hell.
So yeh, another quality game by dice that messes everything up.
Edit:
After playing the game a little more i can honestly say i think its *beep* really dislike it. Im off back to bf4 and will only play bf1 when i have no other choice, but in all honesty ive been going off the franchise anyhow. Doubt i will purchase the next one unless i really like the looks of it.

The first couple of games will be to test your skill, some might be easy others hard. You can always choose your own server to play on, but I honestly think you can't judge a FPS multiplayer game, from a couple of games. Most AAA multiplayer games have a learning curve. Give it some time and you might enjoy it. I remember playing BF3 I sucked at first and hated it. But loved BF2 and stuck at it, and I improved.

I was going to wait for a price drop as my experience with the last few battlefield launches have been poor. So a month sago, I just picked it up for £36 with the DLC and...............not regretted it once.
OMG its awesome! Ok, they have reduced Rush down to 24 instead of 64 which kinda sucks as I loved Rush bu the Operations mode kind kills over everything else. Wow its intense and its just a great game. Glad they didnt go for a modern shooter. I Loved Battlefield 1942 and now WW1, hell yeah!
have some heat OP!

Wish i waited now i could of saved myself a fiver, personally not a fan of the game but keep giving it ago incase i change my mind but keep having more fun and playtime on bf4. (1/1 and half hours bf1 compared to 3/4hrs+ of bf4)
I admit the graphics are good, but the gameplay just does not does not excite me enough to keep me interested.

Going to wait till the price is lower, ended up with Titanfall 2 after the cdkeys quidco deal and now the multiplayer is picking up I much prefer it to BF1. Story was great, and the multiplayer is great fun and the game really impressive in its gameplay and smoothness. Plus no blurry up close textures in titanfall, ironically despite the fact you are whizzing past at insane speed everything has lovely details. I don't get why anyone would trade off doing high res textures with stupid lighting effects when you've got PBR, but it really puts me off BF1.

Isn't there usually an Origin Christmas sale on? Where you can guy the titles from say Origin Mexico are a far cheaper price? I seem to recall I did this with Star Wars Battlefront last Christmas.

It's really, really good! Best BF game I've played in years.
A recent patch accidentally downgraded the graphics but hopefully a fix is on the way.
No idea why they tinkered with it, it's possibly the best optimised PC game of the year.

I think they tried to make it less usage for cpu but it back fired, so many complaints on the forums over it. The newest drivers screwed it up as well but loving the game too. It will all settle down in time like bf4 did, but hopefully quicker than that did lol.
