Oooh if I had any leave I'd snap this up. £260 is a steal for flights to Mauritius, even though Thomson are absolute rip of agents for their hold luggage which I believe is around £60. You do get a meal though at this price.
At £260 return this price only includes 5kg of hand luggage but if there are two of you you could probably split the cost of 1 case. Either way, it's still cheap and from Manchester direct too. November/December dates.

Hey there I'm from Mauritius and the food is really cheap out there unless of course you eat out at 5 star hotels every night!

Was in Flic en flac earlier this year and there's loads of places you can eat for cheap. Just venture out to town and you have more choice! For lunch there's lots of street food you can try e.g. the Roti's were soo tasty! They were about £1.50. Another good restaurant was Rib & reef, 2 course for 2 was about £25. Depending where u go u should check out TripAdvisor as they will give you more info.

A sad case at a human level, but this was misleading as she could have taken "A" levels from overseas and was costing tax payers for her education. She was not in a private school.
I hope she took her exams and passed and obtained a scholarship to study in the UK.
Why should this have any effect on safety of women? Many women live there.

Yeah totally agree .. We went AI with tour operator .. Some of the hotels are incredible but prices to match . Hotel next to ours was £500 a night room only , same beach , sea , and view .. And about £15 for a beer . Think we went through tropicalcollection. Co.uk . Pricing it up separate was a no go I remember . Do the lion walk at Casela if you go .. Loved it .

Mauritius is awesome place .. But went AI .. Had a few trips out . Really safe and the people were amazing . We stayed in Belle Mare area . Local towns didn't offer too much .. Sunday market was cool . Being AI limited the eating out experience .. But what a beautiful place and people .

Great deal... 2 weeks. But schools terms. Bad timing. Good direct flights as well. Add extras like luggage and check in with seats.
