Looked at this months ago before deciding to make my own.
Saw this deal and thought it would be a nice little lightweight thing but the pics are deceiving. It is actually quite a substantial thing. The base is a bit dinged - really poor packing - but you ain't going to see it.
Just deciding to assemble as is or add some Gorilla Glue to the joints.

Nope - bamboo actually kills bacteria and like a lot of woods is naturally antiseptic.
