Been waiting for this to drop, great price for a decent portable wireless Bluetooth speaker
Superior Sound Clarity and Loudness
Wherever life takes you, experience your music with unmatched sound clarity and just the right amount of bass. Boasting less than 1% total harmonic distortion, SoundCore outputs more music and less noise and sounds better and louder than any other 6W speaker, and even more powerful ones.
Incredible Battery Life
Anker's industry-leading power management technology keeps your tunes playing for up to 24 hours on a single charge—that's over a week's worth of playtime (based on average usage).
Uncompromised Portability
To keep SoundCore small but also sounding great, we've designed it using a unique spiral bass port design. The result is a clean bass sound you can easily pick up and put in your bag.
Bluetooth 4.0 Connectivity
Unlike most other speakers, SoundCore uses the very latest Bluetooth technology to ensure lossless CD-quality audio streaming and maximize device compatibility and pairing speed from up to 66 ft away.
Worry-Free Warranty
At Anker, we believe in our products. That's why we back them all with an 18-month warranty and provide friendly, easy-to-reach support.

Bought yesterday, tried it. Sound isn't that good I'm afraid. Nowhere near as good as my old Blaupunkt one I picked up from Sainsburys last year for £20 (who's battery is flagging a bit).
Sending it back. Want something with better Freq ranges as this is lacking in both lows and highs at higher volumes levels.

Arrived this morning, bought for Xmas present but thought I would check it. Sound level on about 25% is perfect for individual listening. It is not going to be ideal for a big room full of people but perfect for small groups/small rooms you don't need anything better than this, great sound quality.

Amazon customer services stopped doing the price-drop refunds ages ago. They'll ask you to re-order at lower price and send the old item back. You'll still technically get the refund but you'll also have another black mark against your name - and Amazon have been known to close accounts if you do too many returns (something that's always in the back of my mind).

He's is kinda right though, there's only so much you can do with 2 x 3W speakers in a plastic enclosure. No need for an audition really.
However, I will say that on balance I think his comment lacks a little perspective given the price of this speaker.

I ordered one of these last Friday (delivered on Saturday), is it worth me asking Amazon to refund the difference £7.99 after midnight ?
As far as I know if a price drops within a week of purchase they refund you the difference if you ask them nicely, is that right ?
It's a nice piece of kit, I was watching planet earth 2 on my Note 4 and it's did a nice job of playing me Hans Zimmer. I thought there may be more control over the sound, not just volume, but it does a good job for the money, and battery life seems very good for such items

Someone said the 20w had to much bass, I use this outside in the garden and I think it helps keep the sound as it should be. I'm listening to "normal music" not that stuff that makes a banging noise with no tunes. ok smooth radio lol via bluettoth from ipad mini in the house & don't have a issue with loss of signal.

Fair enough. Just adding my thoughts. Also, most reviews are written 5 minutes after the device is unboxed and rarely do people take the time to thoroughly test their products. Also Amazon reviews should be taken with a pinch of salt since many are fake/paid for/relatives or employees of the company. Although I have to say Anker customer service is very good.
If it works for you and you're happy with it then congrats.

24 Nov 162#28
Don't do it. Got two of them. Sound quality is terrible. why two? I told anker i wanted a refund and they said oh it must be busted you can keep it and I got a replacement which was equally as bad. Bluetooth doesn't work more than 5m away from it and playing games on the tablet using it sounds worse than my tablets built in speakers. Really don't recommend it.

Yep the A3143 20W version is what I have and got it on a lightning deal (which I don't think show up on Camel) for £24.99 but don't think I have seen it drop any lower than that but the RRP has also raised on it in the past year or so so probably not discounted as much.

I got my A3143 for about £23.99 last year in Amazon's lead up to BF. It's a good speaker, maybe too much bass for me and the battery could last a bit longer.
