there was a better deal for a samsung tv up earlier in the same size. I would go with that when it comes to Tv's.

Got a link? I've been grappling between this and a KU6400, but PS now, built in Google cast and me just having a better experience with Sony when it comes to TV's are the factors that swayed me.
Although I'm sure you can get a similarly spec'd Samsung for cheaper.

Not sure what warranty comes with this deal, but for £30 more, you can get 6 years with Richer Sounds

Think so, but peak brightness is way off HDR premium specs from what I remember when researching. Decent price though.

Be careful with Sony. My understanding is that they refused to accept / use the 'UHD Premium' tag which is, otherwise, a reliable, industry accepted indication of whether a specific TV meets the agreed criteria for it to be deemed 'proper HDR'. Without them participating in this voluntary scheme, it would be up to consumers to research whether a specific TV meets each of the individual specification thresholds that make up the agreed 'UHD Premium' tag, which would prove time consuming, difficult and unreliable.

If you're going to spend nearly £800 on a TV you might as well get the Samsung KS7000. That's Ultra HD Premium at about £880 for 49".
That's 1000 nits bright and this is only about 400.

There will always be something better when you spend more money though. Considering the Samsung is 6 inches smaller and over 100 pound more I don't think that's a very convincing argument.

Problem with the samsung is unless you look at it straight on you may as well be looking at a white screen.

The KS7000 55" is on offer at the moment for just over £800 if you search hot UK deals.

They are not HDR10. An doesn't all electrical a come with 6 year warranty for free? Sales of goods act anyone?
You have 6 years to make a claim against non-conformity. This is not a warranty. Endless information out there on this with a simple Google search.
Also, the Sales of Goods Act doesn't exist anymore. Consumer Rights Act is the replacement. Again, loads of information out there on this. Time to do some reading :sunglasses:

hi guys, spotted this tv in the amazon warehouse. Get £30 off and 20%, works out to be £570. Only 1 though!
More than likely a returned item, my past experience is either it's just soiled packaging or open - used - re-packaged return

You simply buy it from the warehouse section, discount comes off just before the final "pay now" optin. just spotted one and got it for £570 as mentioned above.
