Tried that, with an 8 year old, a 3 old and a wife that struggles to operate the sky box it get real old real fast......none of them have any issues with plex on apple tv/fire tv/roku, very graphical and easy for them to navigate
The problem with Kodi is you have to use it quite regularly to stay on top of where everything is, what still works, what doesn't and where things have moved to, my dinosaur of a dad absolutely loves it but spends all his time that he's not working using it........I'm just the schmuck that hunts for great deals on here for a 55" 4K tv to watch peppa pig and pokemon on

Depends how "smart" your TV is i.e. some TVs don't have all the apps you want where as this should have more or less all of them and it also works fantastically. Got mine from amazon last Christmas for £20 and was money well spent

I don't see what all the fuss is about Kodi, I find it all a right hassle. Easier to torrent/usenet them and stick them on my Plex server, at least I know it works then when I click on it.
And to anyone who pays for a Kodi build.........put it this way......if you're able to navigate Kodi and get everything you want out of it that justifies not paying Sky or Virgin for it, then you are more than capable of putting a build on it in less than 5 minutes, add source->type url->install from zip->restart

When the deal ends at midnight and it's not confirmed £20 tomorrow, why would you?
cjdean1983
24 Nov 16#51
Unsure why anyone wouldn't wait for £20 deal tomorrow?
Rumours from where? It may well be true but I don't see why they'd do a Black Friday deals week deal on the Fire products and then discount even further on Black Friday itself... But I could well be proved wrong.

24 Nov 16#49
I understand, even if I'm very much against it, why you might pirate instead of paying....
But if you're going to pay, why not pay for legit service?
Also, seems to me buying access to pirate streams is going to be a lot more risky, you're supporting the distribution then not to mention setting up a paper trail to be followed....
my-planet
24 Nov 16#48
Oh really? Can't you install BT sport from the app store? Ah, you only get access to Amazon Appstore I guess, not google play store. So I suppose you're in the realms of finding the APK for it then?

I don't get it. That site appears to be selling access to illegal streams.

None of these do what you want to do really, BT sport as far as I'm aware doesn't really have any native apps on any of the platforms you listed and they block outputting it to any boxes or displays, out of all of them the Fire Stick would probably be your best bet as you install Kodi on it and not sure if the android BT Sport app would work side loaded onto it.
What you want is a little pc or laptop under the tv to play it through a web browser

I have all of these . Fire TV is best . as you can sideload kodi to watch anything . I have a plex server so works with that . Plus has iplayer and netflix . Also app dont often have problems as they are well supported. you can also cast youtube from phone
