A guy I work with slated Limbo due to it only lasting a couple of hours, another dude piped in saying it took him just over an hour. On forums the general vibe is the game lasts 2-3 hours. What is going on here, are the majority of people natural born speed runners?
These games take me between 5-7 hours, and I enjoy every second of them. I see no evidence of these people being good when I see them playing in the flesh, there's an aura of pointless competing going on that only ruins the impression of these titles.

Sound Shapes (especially the editor and community content... Triple-platinum available with the cross-save) and SteamWorld Heist are good if you don't already have them.
Most people love Oddworld but I don't think it's aged that well.
Machinarium was fantastic on a tablet but I've not played it on the PS4.
I'm very happy Inside has gone on sale :smile:

You won't be disappointed with both of those games! I absolutely loved both Inside and Abzu.
Try The Witness too if you're into hard puzzle games (Won't get much harder than this game). If you missed both Grim Fandango and Gone Home in the PSplus free games then those are worth a buy too.

ABZU and Inside for me are the highlights. Loved Journey and Limbo.

If you liked Limbo, you'll love Inside... the only downside is the 2-3 hours playthrough time.
There is replay value as there is a different ending after you've found all the collectibles.

You have to blow petals from flower to flower, gathering more as you go - I might not even call it a game as such... technically, you could call it a wind simulator :wink:
I really enjoyed the experience but it's a marmite game - some love it and some hate it.

I get PSN credit through O2 PAYG for nearly half price so I subscribe via PSN.

If you're going to use the O2 method, please don't go overboard by ordering a load of SIMs at once. The offer used to give twice as much credit but it seems O2 watered it down when some people started ordering too many in one go.
I usually get 1 or two SIMs at a time every few weeks. The credit quickly starts adding up so if you plan in advance of any sales then you'll be ready.

It has a higher skill threshold than other games as your hover craft/fighter jet can move in all axis but it's totally worth perservering if you like multiplayer dogfights.

Inside/ Oddworld/ are great regular types of games that have a nostalgic puzzle/platformer element to them, not sure about the others but maybe just watch some "none-spoiler" reviews on any games you like the look or sound of on youtube, it is quite hard to find "none-spoiler" reviews though so be careful

Unravel is also a decent little game but if you have EA Access or are considering getting it for your xbox one then i think it's free with that so pointless for ps4

Steamworld Heist got a lot of love in reviews. It's a turn based strategy game completely different to their previous Steamworld Dig. Inside and Grow Up as well purchased by me :smiley:

I think it took me a while longer to complete Limbo, the 1st time around... partly because it's a bigger game but mostly because I was new to the type of puzzles that I had to solve.
I've bought (and played through at least once) Limbo on PS3, PS4, Vita, PC & Android (you could say I quite like it) so I'm now a veteran to these puzzles.
I've only played Inside once (PC) but the puzzles were pretty much the same so it wasn't much of a challenge to me.
I still very much enjoyed it (hence the PS4 rebuy) :smiley:

Completed Inside stunning game but weird :P and a little dark at times (couple of times we got lucky pressing the action button when we couldn't see a switch for eg).

Most people love Oddworld but I don't think it's aged that well.
Machinarium was fantastic on a tablet but I've not played it on the PS4.
I'm very happy Inside has gone on sale :smile:
Try The Witness too if you're into hard puzzle games (Won't get much harder than this game). If you missed both Grim Fandango and Gone Home in the PSplus free games then those are worth a buy too.
Shame no Axiom Verge, been waiting a long time for a decent discount on that! :disappointed:

I really enjoyed the experience but it's a marmite game - some love it and some hate it.
the DLC on its own it twice the price.

To the people saying these games are naff, boring or whatever, maybe you should stick to AAA?
I get PSN credit through O2 PAYG for nearly half price so I subscribe via PSN.
"International" is the only SIM that's still working.
I usually get 1 or two SIMs at a time every few weeks. The credit quickly starts adding up so if you plan in advance of any sales then you'll be ready.
I took about 3-4 hours on the PC but I didn't get all the collectibles - looking forward to playing it on the PS4 :smiley:
These games take me between 5-7 hours, and I enjoy every second of them. I see no evidence of these people being good when I see them playing in the flesh, there's an aura of pointless competing going on that only ruins the impression of these titles.
I've bought (and played through at least once) Limbo on PS3, PS4, Vita, PC & Android (you could say I quite like it) so I'm now a veteran to these puzzles.
I've only played Inside once (PC) but the puzzles were pretty much the same so it wasn't much of a challenge to me.
I still very much enjoyed it (hence the PS4 rebuy) :smiley:
