Another laptop deal from Very, this one suits my limited needs fine and if you take the BNPL option can be had for £315, just pay it off on time. Yes it has a slightly older processor, but SSD, full HD display and 6 Gb RAM make it a reasonable buy in my humble opinion!

This is 100% accurate. Acer are entry-low range and unfortunately you get what you pay for - Cheap parts that burn out rather quickly. Asus is definitely a much better mid-high end provider that is affordable.

I've read a review and while the screen is of a high resolution the panel quality is poor.

I have an top of the range Acer Predator Ultrawide Monitor but the low end can be an entirely different experience.
Maybe I should at least check some reviews beforehand.

why would you stay clear just because of a few peoples experience? I have an acer laptop, mini pc and monitor, all three are excellent no problems at all!
