How can you find out what libraries work with this? I'm in North London but I don't think my local is apart of this scheme.

Thank you for this!
I just subscribed to Le Figaro, Le Monde and Vogue Paris at my local newsagent, but at £2 each just for the newspapers it's quickly becoming a big spend. Good to know that I'll still have somewhere to read them if I do decide to stop them.
Heat added and thanks again.

the reason that most real library cards do not work is that your local library service will not be subscribed to the service... it's important to understand that they have to pay to allow their users to access; a connection to the library management system then authenticates the library card number. There is a massive assumption that there is no cost to these free services and sadly most suppliers charge the libraries exorbitant rates... worst of all being ebooks!

++heat; That's a great find, OP! It's international, even has La Vanguardia here in Spain. It wouldn't accept my Spanish library card number but a makey-uppey 7 digit number seems be working fine. Thanks for sharing!

This has been posted before.
I've used it a few times before but I find the pages quite slow to update on my laptop; running AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-60 2.00ghz,4.00gb ram,Windoze 7 64-bit os.
I find the pages load quicker downloading a pdf file,to read offline on laptop or smartphone.
Thanks gerry. This is fantastic. You deserve a medal...!!!

I'm interested, but not immediately clear on the MO. Would appreciate definition of what existing library membership would qualify. Also intrigued about how the supplier would confirm that existing membership. Thanks.
