The fish counter in Asda is free.
And, when the kids get bored of it, you can take them to see the vegetables.

You can't call them vegetables any more. Not politically correct!

Forget Sea Life centres and go to The Deep in Hull (if you can get there) much better
Not really a great deal considering you can generally always get coupons for 50% off Sea Life on chocolate and cereal boxes etc.

Blue Planet at Ellesmere Port is much better if you are based in the North West.

Even at fifty percent off it's still too expensive. Massive rip-off, lasting about 40 mins tops if you walk around extra slowly.

I personally think it's expensive even at half price for sea life centre Manchester. Kids / grandkids hated it, thought it was boring and couldn't wait to get out. There's not much to look at, as you walk round you're going back on yourself so seeing the same thing from two sides of the tanks, they just have different shaped glass fronts to fool you.
When we first entered, we were crammed into a small area while they did the 'turtle talk', it was sweltering and you couldn't move with all the other people crammed in with you ... Nightmare!
Sorry, I don't mean to sound like a miserable mare but I wouldn't have wasted my money had I known what it was going to be like x
