My rad I want to change is 835 width x 535 height. How do I make up the 35mm as don't do this width? Cheers

Taking the 1000mm Wickes rads as example (both currently 30% off), they have type 21 and type 22. The 22 has about 40% more heat output and is fatter. As I'm thinking of putting a radiator cabinet over, may go for the fatter one at about £6 more.
Heat added btw.

I had these radiators and I've changed them for the slimline high output.
These ones don't give out much heat and their water capacity is huge.
The slimlines are much more efficient and warm up much quicker.
I know they cost more, but you'll only change them every 20 years or so.
These standard ones are good for rented accommodations, but in my own house I prefer better output which will result in cheaper gas bill

Thanks for your post - am just about to replace all the radiators so would also greatly appreciate an example of the type of slimline radiators you mean as our home gets very cold in the winter with the single panel radiators and was going to replace them with double radiators of the same length (also upgrading the boiler as well as previous one was too small).
Would greatly appreciate any further advice please, especially regarding the slimlines and examples - thanks a lot

Wickes Radiators are made by QRL Radiators (formerly Quinn Radiators) and are one of the top three brands out there. This is a great deal.

Yeh and get ripped off. Do it yourself and save thousands, and you can replace radiators without being Corgi etc as no gas involved.
