I know they are cheaper but thee 3 litre bottles are only worth it if the are consumed as soon as they are opened - i.e large gatherings etc. If you make it last a day or 2, it goes so flat that you have to pour it down the sink

Thank you so much for posting the ingredients, as I thought it's got artificial sweeteners in it to make up for the reduction in sugar. There are very few fizzy drinks left on the market that contain just sugar anymore and you can really taste the difference.

Very true only Normal Pepsi, Normal Coca Cola, Normal Irn Bru, Normal 7up, Coca Cola Life, San Pellegrino and a few others still have full sugar
Reformulated Dr Pepper And Fanta Orange both don't taste as good as the full sugar versions did, I based this on having both old versions from early 2014 and new reformulated versions from mid late 2014 side by side when they changed the ingredients about 2 years ago.

Bought Pepsi max. It tasted as if it had been diluted. Didn't taste the same as the 2lt bottle. Must be what's left at the bottom of their distillers!

Yep mostly done in the name of "public health". The government and public health jobsworth demand reductions in sugar content and reformulation. All this does is reduce and limit your choice as an adult as what you can buy and in many cases can make your favourite products taste worse. If Coke could lower the sugar content to make it taste better and thus boost sales they would have. You can join the army and die for your country but heaven forbid you have a glass of lemonade with a "high" sugar content.
I prefer some sugar free drinks like Pepsi max but some definitely taste better when full sugar.
