I'm re-posting this as my original post seems to have been hidden away in misc & I want everyone to have a chance to benefit from the cashback

Whilst I can't confirm yet, I would recommend NOT using the 5% facebook discount. Quidco T&Cs for this deal state it cant be used with any other discount

Nobody is legally obliged to give cashback. Don't buy anything in this deal if you can't afford to risk paying the full price really.

Yeah. When you enter the code for the PS Plus sub it just adds it to your current time. So it won't need to auto renew for another 12 months for example. Much cheaper to do it this way.

Perfect I have been pondering buying Dishonoured 2 for days , the price was not quite right , but hey presto with a 25% discount , it was a done deal !!!! purchase made

I know they are having a few performance issues at present , but they will be ironed out in a few days or so , new driver from nvidia , patch for the game , job done ! download size is less than I thought , 38 gigs install size on PC ! almost reasonable by todays standards

The Campaign is brilliant , the PVP is really good , could do with a few more PVP modes , I would of liked a non respawn stealthy mode , but new DLC coming shortly too , a new map based on the original Titanfall classic map , plus no DLC fees , it is all part of the price...

Ended up buying a PS Plus network card and a Xbox £25 top up as a christmas present. Total of £59.78.

Cashback is never guaranteed, but Quidco has always paid out when I've used them for CDKeys.
Last time, I ordered a £15 Wallet Top up, and received cashback on that, even when the 5% was applied.
The cashback took exactly 3 months to be confirmed.

I didn't want to risk it on this purchase, as it's so much.

Steam sales are still worth it for a lot of titles. If you don't already use it you should check out Isthereanydeal.com it's like camelcamelcamel but for games prices.

Hard to believe i'm actually recommending getting an FPS on console but do your self a favour and get it on ps4 if you want multiplayer. I actually refunded this on Origin but will pick it up on ps4. It's a great game but the player base on PC is tiny and given the sales will probably evaporate quickly like the first one. PS4 is by far the larger player base.

It's a console shooter. The game is heavily balanced for controller. Even the PC release has a very high level of auto aim for controllers. Also despite all the praise for the port it struggles to get even a steady 100 fps @1080p on low settings on a gtx 970. I guess they optimized for 60fps.

I'm thinking of using it to get Netflix credit too as Netflix is one of the few ways to watch a decent amount of 4K content. I have never used gift cards though. It's good to know that they don't expire. So I assume Netflix just charge the giftcard balance each month instead of your card/paypal? If you want to stop for a few months though is it safe to cancel the sub or can you lose your remaining balance?

Have contacted CDkeys to ask them to clarify but I'm not convinced I'll get a reply in time since they are probably swamped with their site being so busy....

I've tried it on a 4770k/16gb RAM/980Ti and currently have it installed on SSD, I'm pretty disappointed with performance. Disabled all the AA and depth of field effects and using high/very high settings. Framerates are still erratic with everything on very low and the input lag is nasty.

With regards to the PS+, sold out when in GBP but changed it to EUR and bought 2. Slightly more than the GBP but worth a go if you're after one.

Argh that's disappointing! Hopefully it will be fixed quickly as it seems the majority of people are having issues. I saw this on a Steam review which may be worth trying if you've not already:

PERFORMANCE PSA: Panic not friends, for I dug through some forum posts and found what's causing the low performance. It's simply that the dishonored 2 .exe sets itself to low process priority class whenever it loads. Setting it back to normal/above normal after each loading screen will provide a workaround until they can get around to the (very easy) patch! Additionally - the massive input delay can be fixed by setting pre-rendered frames to 1.

Could someone with Quidco premium go on the livechat and see if this deal can be used with the Facebook 5% code please? I can't contact them because they block off essential functions like actually being able to contact them to premium members.

I tried contacting CDkeys but they just tell me they don't know and to contact quidco, which I can't, well at least not in a way that would get a response in time. Not very helpful TBH, they obviously must have a relationship in place or quidco couldn't have put this on in the first place...

This seems too good to be true.. Is it really the case that I can buy £25 of PSN for £23.99, and then get £8 back via Quidco?

If so, I need another £50 (to top up my account to max, so will have to do this).
MBeeching
11 Nov 16 #173
I'm sure they will fix it... Perhaps they should ask the Doom team to review their IDTech render pipeline.

I would also like see options to disable motion blur and ambient occlusion as I'm sure they're causing problems.
I've tried pre-rendered frames 1 but felt it made little or no difference, will take a closer look at CPU usage over the weekend.

£18.99 for £20 PSN credit.

got my tracking notification. But looking in my account note that it showing as payable by 3rd March! Utterly ridiculous wait for it. Hardly seems fair when some people are getting it by December. Very tempted to complain as I really could do with that cash back sooner.

What possible justification is there for holding it that long?, I'm sure these overly long cash back waits are just a con so they can not pay up safe in the knowledge all but the most organised will have probably long forgotten it....

Anyone know if CDkeys let you cancel if you haven't used the code?, really in two minds whether to now.

These key resellers are all a bit sketchy. CDKeys is still alot better then G2A. But CDKeys recently removed option to pay by card. Which is a huge red flag to me.
Rossmor40
12 Nov 16 #307
I am sure I had the option to pay by card yesterday at CD Keys when I bought my psn credit. I am sure why it's a red flag anyway as you would still pay by PayPal which gives a decent level of protection.

I paid by card yesterday

They must have put card payments back on.

I remember having to go through so much trouble because the card payment option disappeared a few months ago.

spent the same here mate and £68 quidco tracked ok for me so i doubt its the value
billysablo
12 Nov 16 #311
good to know. i usually use the code as its 5% but didnt this time just in case  but why would you take 2% quidco usually instead of 5% facebook discount ? just curious
Spark
13 Nov 16 #312
Which, to be fair, was something that you were advised by several veteran members on here, including me, not to do.
Spark
13 Nov 16 #313
My guess is that you have 2 identical looking transactions there and the system thinks they're duplicates.
gupsterg
13 Nov 16 #314
Yeah possible, but won't letting go without highlighting that I made 2 differing purchases  . I got Mortal Kombat X Komplete edition and Batman: Arkham Knight Premium.

I am not going to loose too much sleep if i dont get the cashback. I paid £3 more than normal for the PSN credit and pretty much the normal price for PS+, and i WILL still use them.. so its not a big deal.. just a little disappointing

14 Nov 16 #317
Well I went for it after emailing my completely redacted driving license leaving only my name and address visible.

Quico never tracked, I used the Facebook code as I always do (and it always pays out with this, no idea why the earlier poster says his cdkeys doesn't track and pay with the 5% code).

Anyway, I put a dispute in and I am amazed that I got an email from Quidco this morning to say they are paying me out their own pocket!

Nice, £26.36 now showing confirmed on my PSN and Steam topups and Doom for PC.

15 Nov 16 #318
I filed a claim for my missing transaction and then had an online chst with Quidco to get a feel for how the claim process worked. They told me that the decision to honour the claim could take 4 months!

So i wrote to CDKeys suggesting i could cancel my order as i hadnt downloaded my codes yet and they immediatly refunded me..

It wasnt the outcome that i expected or wanted, but i cant be bothered with this deal any more....

15 Nov 16 #319
Does anyone know if there's a time limit to how long the code can be redeemed?
Illusionary
15 Nov 16 #320
What code are you referring to?
aymanhd
15 Nov 16 #321
Never mind, CDKeys got back to me immediately. I have an Xbox code for £25 voucher. As I am the only one that owns the code, it can be redeemed whenever.

No cashback here, scammed? It all tracked fine, getting paid it seems not.

Where does it say that? I don't see anything in mine, just that its "tracked".
MonkeyJug
19 Feb 17 #329
I imagine cdkeys.com are probably baulking at the huge amount of cashback they are needing to shell out, therefore are desperately looking for an escape route...
ST3123
19 Feb 17 #330
Probably, bet a lot of people made some pretty big purchases to make the most of this.

Mine is due on 4th March, really hope they make good on it as, like many, I did factor in the cashback when buying.

Quidco cash back was due today and the status has now changed to " The retailer is taking longer than expected to process your transaction. We apologise for the delay."

:disappointed:

UPDATE - Cashback has now been confirmed!

For those that have just been paid, what sort of cashback did you get? I'm due nearly £30. Wondering if they're only paying back the small ones.

Mine was £9 on a £35.89 purchase.

Hmm... logged in to Quidco to check if things were still on track for the 25th. ... Things are not on course for the 25th. Just have to wait and see if it comes through, now.

Mine available for payment too, despite it initially saying 4th of March, nice to get it early for once! Decided to pay out via Amazon gift card as there is a slight 3% bonus for doing so, though then noticed it said up to 10 days for email delivery WTF, it's usually a couple of days on TCB! But mainly just pleased CDkeys honoured it, bet it cost them a fortune...
