No wild goose chase. Saw these in my local store in Sale at the weekend. If it had been a decent beer I'd have snapped some up.:man:

lt beggars belief that some people can find negatives with this post. l rekon we would get a whinge at 10p a bottle.
Good deal, been and got some. Thanks.

Just because it's cheap it doesn't mean it's good. Even at 10p a bottle I wouldn't buy it for myself. I don't like it. Good for a gift maybe.

50p a bottle is a great price

Is it only me that scans the price/litre when looking for Bud? £1.665 is a hot price, most impulse purchases sizes are up closer to £3/litre

£1.51 a litre for the thriftsters out there, and a drunkness factor of 3.18 (abv/price per litre, higher is 'better').

With proper German and Czech beers around, plus so many local "craft" breweries now appearing, I don't quite understand why would anyone drink this... (Trying to be nice and not call this liquid the names it deserves...) :smirk:

Because people have different taste buds and may think that the beers you mention taste like p*ss

great deal. Agree it's not the best beer out there, but I'd much rather drink this than the likes of carling. £10 for 20 bottles will do me, Christmas Breakfast sorted

When on offer anywhere, which they usually are somewhere, this is the price 50p a bottle. If ever they went lower then it would be a real deal.
I drink then and never pay more than 50p a bottle as they are always on "offer" somewhere.

Excellent deal. Bought some yesterday. Be warned they werent with the normal alcohol but in with the mystery items in the middle aisles.
Aldi do a very nice 6 pack of German lagers in bottles for £3.99 as well.

What? That makes 0% sense. I'll just assume you realised how stupid your comment was, drank the case of Bud and are now just mashing the keyboard.

Hot for price. But I hate the stuff, it's not beer in the traditional sense. Like lager, yuk! :stuck_out_tongue:
