Quidco are promoting a never beaten on cashback deal. they say if you find a better cashback deal, they will double the difference. from what i can see, toys come under other purchases, which is at 1.1%.
by their example, if they double the difference 37.8% cashback should be expected, or if they add it from the 1.1% it could be 38.9%.
i may have misread it, but thats what it looks like to me. Sorry if its wrong.
My claim also on hold, suspect the topcashback link for 20% off will be dead by the time quidco check it.

Thanks for this. I just bought via quidco (ie before reading this post) - so have now raised a claim - will see whether it gets me anywhere. Although slightly nervous that it looks like I only bought via quidco because of this thread - especially as I haven't been using them much recently - which was not the case.
Still will see how it goes.

You normally get reimbursed a few weeks after even months as they have to make sure you don't simply buy and return the product. I've never had any probs with quidco even when buying designer items which give quite a bit of cashback I always get it although sometimes I do wait 2-3 months after purchase :-)

Sorry, this is a sort of unrelated but i'm on the Argos website and the prices in my basket are showing full price. I don't know wither to buy and risk not getting a refund or wait till they they sort it out in which case they may go out of stock :s

you still pay full price at argos, the 20% off is cashbook from top cashbook when you click through from their site

I wouldn't personally count on quidco to honour such cashback claims....they'll find some way of not paying you the extra. Happy to be proved wrong!

Terms & Conditions
An eligible purchase must first be made via Quidco before the Highest Cashback Guarantee is applied
The higher cashback rate must be identified within 72 hours of the member’s original purchase.
The higher cashback rate must originate from a UK cashback website. The Highest Cashback Guarantee is not applicable to cashback offered by product manufacturers (e.g. Canon) themselves.
The higher cashback rate must be listed on an alternate UK cashback website and be available to the greater public.
Proof of the higher cashback rate must be provided in the form of a URL which directs to the appropriate page on alternate UK cashback website.
The Highest Cashback Guarantee does not apply to offers made available by discount clubs/loyalty programmes whereby the user has to pay a monthly subscription fee to be a member, or benefits programmes that are only available to members of a certain criteria – e.g. employee benefit programmes.
The Highest Cashback Guarantee will only be applied to purchases made at retailers listed on Quidco.
The Highest Cashback Guarantee will not be applied to insurance and broadband purchases made through Quidco Compare.
Quidco reserves the right to reject claims if suitable proof cannot be supplied that a higher cashback rate was advertised on an alternate UK cashback website within the specified timeframe and according to our T&Cs.
Quidco will double the difference of the cashback rate offered by a rival UK cashback site (for example if a rate of 8% is advertised by a retailer on Quidco and 10% is offered elsewhere by that same retailer with the same stipulations, Quidco will increase the cashback by 4%, thereby upping the total cashback rate to 12%)
Quidco’s ‘double the difference’ Highest Cashback Guarantee will be applied to all retailers.
Think they have to pay it.

I had that email too but do quidco give you 37.8% off the cash back amount or the price of the item itself?

It says this in the Quidco example "E.G. If you earn 10% cashback at a retailer on Quidco, spot a 15% offer elsewhere, we’ll apply a 20% rate to your purchase."
