I think this is cold, you're paying £30 for ps plus and forcing yourself to pay a further £20 for PSN credit, when you can just buy PS+ for around £32 on a decent deal, and buy credit as and when you need.

why don't you do what i did this week ? buy 12months psn and ring sizer (to get the total over £40, then sign up as new customer say you want a credit account, add the code KNMJF it takes off £20 (unfortunately they charge £4 delivery) and total is £25.48 delivered in two days or less! at check out you can opt to pay the amount straight away so theres no bill to worry about paying in instalments or whatever ...
i think people know this method but maybe have forgotten or are new here.
yes i know lots of people don't ike very, but i had no problems :-)

Just got the boy a PS4 pro for Christmas and to be honest I think there subscription is a rip off compared to Xbox subscription, at least Xbox subscription allows the family to have there own accounts included not a subscription per person. He will be playing a lot of games on his own on the PS4 as I am not paying a extra £40 so I can play 2 player online with him.

All you have to do is set the console as primary with the account that has plus, then the membership is console wide

Funny how PlayStation network used to be free, and now costs more than Xbox live! Xbox live being the superior more reliable network. Honestly sometimes I really hate being a Sony customer. Jeez

To be fair you get 24 free games a year (PS4) thrown in with that and rises to 72 if you have a PS3 and a Vita

Thanks...just read that myself on another site....Crikey, I'm behind the times here...people are actually paying for multiplayer gaming now. Next thing they'll be charging you to watch TV!

29 Nov 16#43
Yep, definitely wish I bought a XB1 now instead. :disappointed:
How has this even become hot, let alone as much heat as this!?!
I find it hard to justify spending more on the PS network for a 12-month sub for an inferior product.

I honestly don't want to ask this....but I will anyway. What does PSN give me?
Seems to be just access to stuff on any Smart TV? I mean, if I have Netflix, Prime and Spotify accounts and a Smart TV...any other reason I'd need PSN?
Oh hand on...bit more reading....I'm about to upgrade PS3 to PS4 Pro....so now I need this to play multiplayer?

maybe not but i remeber they have some date possible to win. Im sure its pass already
I think i had a part to play also as every time they sent me £20 to use on my two accounts i would always use it on PSN credit.

I used very/kandco/littlewoods and woolworths voucher codes (30 off 60+) and got 240 psn credit for 120
so im afraid this is cold
that and gumtree normally has listings for psn credit like stated above so £20 could potentially buy you 30-40 quid of credit.

1. I'd never trust Gumtree or eBay for digital listings.
2. Not everyone will want to spend £120 on PSN credit.

People commonly sell PSN credit for 80% of the face value, so £18 is what the £20 of credit is worth.
That makes subscription £32 which is still a good price, but you can get it for that price without having to buy £20 extra PSN credit at the same time.
You get a steelbook, which is nice but I bought a few of these for £37 before and this isn't as much of a no brainer so I won't be buying this time.
