Your math is wrong. You've added 20% of £25. If you spend £30 then your VAT is £6 and it works out £24.
You need to spend £31.25 for the price to work out to £25 ex. VAT

i.e.
Spending £30 at bodyshop, use 40% discount code brings this down to a total of £18. Will this count for the £10 quidco bonus?

My experience with quidco is that if there is a way they can get out of paying you they will! If they've stated a minimum spend I've been making sure it's been that total after it has been deducted to be on the safe side

I do wonder if they will honour all of these. So far I have signed up for Toys R Us, M&S (and others), Boots and Nike. Orders placed on 3 and Nike to do tonight.

Nervous about their T&C I accepted it successfully but terms do so only those who received this offer are eligible, I didn't receive an email from them about it so likely to get refused?

£25 plus 20% vat = £30 spend, plus delivery if you choose not to use free click and collect which Boots do and perhaps others. So potentially 30% off, seems a hot deal to me.

VAT is Value Added Tax and the standard rate is 20%.

When a VAT registered business wishes to sell something for £100 they need to add 20% VAT to it ie £100 + £20 = £120.

£100 + £20 vat = £120
£8.33 + £1.67 vat = £10
£25 + £5 vat = £30

The 20% VAT is added to the NET. You can't get the VAT figure by multiplying the GROSS by 20%!

You need to spend £25 ex. VAT and delivery to qualify. The website shows prices including VAT.

It's a fifth, if you can't work out what a fifth of 25 is then I don't think you should be trusted to with real money.

Just ordered the star gift- boss ma vie perfume. Its on for £25..im not very hopeful about the cashback lol but a nice perfume at the end of it. Do correct me if im wrong about the cashback. Tnx

It could be just due to their crappy software. Or possibly they deduct the P&P charges if there were any. Or some of the items were zero rate or 5% reduced rate VAT (still unlikely but both somewhat more likely if related to children's goods).

FFS I just bought perfume last night using Quidco from Boots. I only got £3.02 back. What a pain in the ass.

I didn't receive email but clicked on link and activated. Not used it yet. When I clink on this link again it says 'great news you've qualified for your £10 bonus'..... you're part of exclusive group. Screen shot it incase any problems.

I thought this was a good deal but after checking and comparing items elsewhere then your not really getting a good deal. If anything your just creating yourself a hassle by going through quidco then waiting a few months to find out if your going to get your tenner back or not.
I was looking at aftershave deals, so I searched on very, fragrance, boots then went to google them and can see I can get the same thing for a tenner cheaper already.

I checked a few out then gave up.

Dont you have to receive the emal for these offers first? I appreciate that it lets you use the link above to activate - but wont quidco just decline the cashback if you didnt reeceive the email invite to the offer? So far I have only received the £10 Nike deal

Now states on Quidco facebook, hidden away in comments, that £30 needs to be spent. Looks like my £27 and a bit order will be returned to store!

I think a lot of us are tying ourselves in knots over these bonus deals. My Boots purchase has tracked with the vat included (some merchants DO deduct it, but there is no way of telling beforehand). I'm almost convinced I've qualified, but not sure I want to risk it as the deals aren't as sweet without the bonus, like you said.

Couldn't manage to get this working.

First the Quidco website was down then later on I couldn't get the click and collect working on Boots!
