This Amazon review for their shortbread says it all:
"This is got to be the worst shortbread in Scotland and makes me ashamed to be Scottish .From a Scotsman a shortbread should be about 1 inch thick and real butter taste and leaves a buttery taste in your mouth .This is like a ginger snap consistency rather than a digestive consistency and leave a grease taste in the mouth and is NOT real shortbread
poor biscuit
rotten after taste
greasy after taste"
