It's the number 1 rule of gaming. I paid £46 for Forza Horizon 3 digitally at launch. If I waited until Christmas I could probably get it for £25. It all depends on when you want to play it.

Why Amazon? If I recall correctly they had a poor show last year. Shopto, coolshop killed it. Xtra Vision had the cheapest consoles.

This is still the cheapest way to play 4K blue ray films. Disappointed new PS4 does not have that capability ( only 4K streaming).

Don't remind me.... Amazon's Black Friday "deals" were terrible last year. So much so that I ordered absolutely nothing.
The Battlefield 1 release is a frecking mess IMPO.
The best map is the Lawrence of Arabia map - it does not come with the standard release of BF1. It may - or may not - be freely available sometime in December. Or you may have to pay the £40 to get it as part of the additional map packs.
You can get SOME of the extra maps bundled by paying for the 1TB model - just as long as you like your console being vomit green - so it is a bit of a juggle working out the pros and cons of which BF bundle to buy.
IMPO, this basic version of BF1 needs to be £200 with the console. Even £225 is too much IMPO as you will be forced to pay another £40 on top, at some point, if you want to play all the maps. Having been a Battlefield player for several years I know what a minefield it is simply trying to choose the best version of the game to initially buy.

How do you know it is the best map if it hasnt been released yet? Unless you mean Sinai desert which was in the beta, which is absolutely in the basic game.......

Spot on, there's a couple of PS4 bundles for IW, the only ones there's likely to be for Xbox One are the ones shops bundle together themselves which are usually rubbish value (looking at you Game).

I'm struggling to see why this is generating so much heat so quickly. The Gears 4 and Fifa bundle for £250 was a FAR better deal than this and people had four days to pick that up. Cold from me.

Oh my gosh, we are going to do this are we? Battlefield 4 was out for a good 12 months, if not 24 months, before the DLC became available on the EA Access. With BF3 the DLC was only available on the Premium Pass for about 3 or 4 years before it came out on EA Access. The info is freely available up on Google.
Great, if you wish to wait a year or longer for the extra maps then good for you. I personally like playing them when they are relatively new.

I have never bought a premium pass but I have all the premium stuff. You are been silly.
Same with FIFA 17. I sold 2 copies for £30 each because I can wait until it hits EA Access.

17 Oct 16#22
Don't be silly - they sell them separately so that they can make the extra cash. Yes, they will turn up in time eventually, but long after they have come out via their payable remium pass subscription and usually long after people have lost interest in playing them.
The Battlefield business model is basically to sell you the base game and then charge you for the game again by putting several of the better maps, weapons, vehicles, etc, as only available to those who buy the premium pass... or whatever they are calling it this week.

FWIIW, on Tesco Direct they now have a bundle of the PS4 Slim with the basic version of BF 1 for:
1TB £299.00
500GB £249.00
Both a good £50 too expensive still IMPO - and why I am not posting them as a potential hotukdeal - but it is interesting that they only went up today but both have expiration dates of the 19th October. I wonder if there is a better deal coming later this week. I suspect so.

Ok for current pricing, but it's a bit of a bad time to buy IMHO, if you didn't get one of the earlier deals (I'm really pleased I did get the console and 3 great games for £239 at Tesco) then you might as well wait till black friday at this stage....
I'm quite hopeful black friday should at least see them come back to the great pricing they had around launch, possibly slightly better.

not sure if your be serious or not but they initially wouldn't price match Tesco (or issue refunds for the difference) as Tesco was using a code the if I remember correctly against everything they'd said they eventually matched Tesco's offer, quite a few members here had bought 2 or 3 Xboxes as the retailers where competing with each other.
